Glasgow-based independent whisky bottler Brave New Spirits have expanded their senior management team, with Danny MacLennan joining the company as Financial Director.

It’s been an incredible experience to be part of this year’s Meininger’s International Spirits Award judging panel, joining a fantastic group of spirits distributors, writers, and producers from across the industry. Always a pleasure to connect with passionate professionals and contribute to recognizing the best in spirits.

The Meininger International Spirits Award (ISW), based in Germany, is one of Europe’s most prestigious competitions for distilled beverages. Held annually, it brings together expert juries to evaluate spirits from around the world, setting high standards for quality, innovation, and craftsmanship. Honored to be involved in this respected platform that celebrates excellence in our industry.

This 15 Year Old Ardbeg, matured in a 1st fill Rivesaltes barrique, showcases the bold union of Islay intensity and sweet Southern French finesse.

Rivesaltes — a fortified wine from Southern France — leaves its mark with notes of candied orange peel, black cherry compote, and dried thyme, woven through ashy smoke and seaweed soaked peat.

Bottled at natural cask strength 54.5% ABV, this is Islay at its most expressive🤩🔥

308 bottles only, released to celebrate Islay Whisky Festival.
