Look what's joined our autumn shelf 🍂 A 20 year old malt from Orkney, and honestly, it's a lovely one 🤩

Cotton candy, milk toffee, a bit of sea salt… and pastel de nata (!). Not the heavy, dark flavours you'd usually reach for this time of year, but it's just perfect for these crisp, sunny days. Cold still air, bright skies, trees going all yellow and red 🍁

Seven new heroes have landed! 💥

This latest Wh**kyHeroes release brings together seven single casks from across Scotland, aged from 8 to 18 years. A few come from distilleries we’ve never bottled as Wh**kyHeroes before!.. Braeval, Glenglassaugh and a few others!

There’s a Speyside honey trap, a Lowland grain gang, a peated blended malt with a curse on it and plenty in between. As always, every bottle is non-chill-filtered, every cask was picked for its character, and every hero’s name hides a link to the place it came from.

They start heading to wh**ky shops around the world this week. Look out for them at festivals and tastings soon, too!

When he's not out flying the BNS flag, Paul (Paul Dempsey ) swaps his day job for a judge's seat at some of the world's most respected spirits competitions.

This year, Spirits Selection by CMB marked his tenth year on the panel with a special award in Madeira. 🥃

Since his first invitation back in 2016, he's tasted alongside legendary producers, the writers whose books line his shelves, and people from dozens of countries – many of whom are now friends.

And because Paul never travels light, he packed a little something for the island: our **ky Ardmore and Dalrymple, finished in Madeira barriques. The wh**ky went home. 🏝️

Paul, thank you for bringing that nose (and that big heart) to everything we do, from the tasting table to picking the casks that end up in our bottles. We're so lucky to have you on the team. Congratulations! 👏🤩

Viki's Mannheim itinerary: land, sprint, pour. ✈️🏃‍♀️🥃

She went straight from the airport to World of Wh**ky without so much as a coffee stop, and spent the next two days behind our table chatting with wh**ky lovers from all over Germany.

And what a place to do it: drams, good company and a baroque castle for a backdrop. Not a bad weekend at the office.🙃
