NEW WINE TASTING ALERT!!

And what a doozy this one is!

On Thursday 11th June we will be joined by none other than Kevin Grant from Ataraxia wines.
If you know us here at Curious then you’ll no doubt know that this one has us bursting at the seams with excitement.
Ataraxia, situated in Hemel-en-Aarde in South Africa, was founded in 2004 (yeah, really!) and has made an enormous splash in the wine world. So come join us for unmissable masterclass from The Man Himself. Link in bio or available through our website!

Price: £30pp

We recommend having a substantial meal before the tasting but we will provide snacks and refreshments.

NEW TASTING ALERT!!
Tikves x Curious Liquids

We are super proud to host Tikves, a North Macedonian winery, in our humble little shop. Tivkes are a winery that specialise indigenous grapes from their home country! So not only are you tasting their expertise but you are also getting an insight to the country’s history of winemaking!

We will be serving some snacks but absolutely recommend having dinner beforehand

As most of you probably know by this point, a couple of weeks ago we bid farewell to Sean, our beloved manager of 3 years!
Sean has had such a huge impact on our wee bar & shop and if you've ever been served by him you know that his passion for wine is one in a million. We're gutted to see him go but so excited for watching his career develop. In his words we'll have a difficult time getting rid of him, as we're still the best place to get a glass of wine this side of the river!
In tribute to his time at Curious Liquids, we're running a menu of his favourite wines for ONE MORE WEEKEND, before Eoghan & Dan take an axe to all his hard work next week.

We still have plenty of space for walk-ins and bookings over Saturday and Sunday, so give us a call, come on down and try your favourite wine guy's favourite wines!

We've partnered with for a very special event; a chance for us to shine a light on some of our favourite Spanish winemakers currently stocked at Curious Liquids!

Join us at for a sit down guided tasting through two wonderful Rioja wineries, & and a premium Ribera del Duero, , for good measure. This is a great opportunity for both people who want to dip their toe into Rioja and Duero or people who are well-versed but may not have tried Curious Liquids' selection. We're huge fans of these wines and are certain you'll be too!

As ever, it is recommended that guests eat before attending, nibbles and light refreshments will be provided. Please email us [email protected] with any allergen requirements upon purchase of your tickets.

Unfortunately pets are not allowed at this event.

NEW TASTING ALERT!!!

This time we are pairing up with and Loch & Vine to showcase wines hailing all the way from Ukraine!

The tasting will feature 6 wines from Ukrainian Wineries including 1 Sparkling, 2 Whites, 1 Orange and 2 Reds! These wines will feature internationally know grapes as well as lesser known indigenous varietals to Ukraine

Date: Tues 3rd March
Time: 7pm - 9:30pm

FIRST TASTING OF YEAR! (And what a treat this one is!)

Bodega Garzon are a winery uniquely placed in the south east coast of Uruguay. Primarily known but not limited to their red Tannat wines, Garzon focus on single varietal wines to showcase how the unique terroir of Uruguay influences them. We will be showing 6 of their wines which we believe will get you fully assimilated with their uniqueness and skill.

Our festive “Grab and Go” Christmas display is ready and live!

We tried to take the stress out of your Christmas shopping by selecting big hitting classics from the big three regions of the wine world; Spain, Italy and France.

In addition, we’ve curated a three bottle Curious Christmas Gift Jute Bag which contains one bottle of bubbles, a white and a red all for £65.
You can upgrade and add a Champagne for £30 and a sweet wine for £10 respectively.

We have everything from gift boxes, select fine wines and the last remaining bottles of Beauj Nouveau for you too.

HOGMANAY INFORMATION!!!!!

Hogmanay comes around quicker and quicker it seems each year. Feels like only last week we were ringing in the bells for 2025! Where has all that time gone?

Last year, tickets sold out very quickly and left many without the opportunity to get a ticket. So this has led us to make the call in giving priority to returning attendees. Fortunately (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it) all previous attendees that we had contact information for have expressed their interest in attending again this year. This means that there will be no general sale of tickets to our Hogmanay event this year as all spaces have now been allocated.

Should you wish to be added to the reserve list, you are more than welcome to enquire at [email protected]. We would like to stress however that there isn’t a guarantee that tickets for the event will become available so we want to implore you to not put all of your eggs in one basket to avoid disappointment.

Just posting this now that the dust has settled to say a massive thank you to all of you who came through to our annual tasting!

Myself (Dan) and Sean are going to start packing orders and getting in touch with people today, so keep your phones handy! We are still waiting on some wines to come through, but we’ll keep you all fully informed of the status of your order!
