Spotlight on Txakoli

Fresh, coastal white from the Basque country in northern Spain. Light, crisp, a little bit spritzy and very easy to drink.

Have you tried Bobal?

One of Spain’s most underrated grapes, mainly grown around Utiel-Requena (just inland from Valencia). Traditionally used for bulk wine, but now being taken much more seriously by smaller producers. We have three in the shop just now, all a bit different.

Usually shows dark fruit like blackberry and plum, a touch of spice, and a fresh structured finish. Similar sort of weight to Rioja, but a bit more rustic.

If you like Rioja but want to try something a bit different, come try one of ours.
