Love Pinot Noir but looking to branch out a little? 🍷

Here are 3 reds to try out next if Pinot is usually your go-to:

✨Blaufrankisch: crunchy black fruit, alpine herbs and black tea
✨Grenache: silky concentrated red fruit, red licorice, grenadine
✨Gamay: peonies, cherries, crushed wild strawberries

All three bring that lighter bodied, food-friendy energy Pinot lovers tend to crave - just with their own personality in the glass!

While the three featured are ones we absolutely love, we’ve got plenty to try in the shop! Come by today and let us broaden your horizons.

Which one are you trying first? 👀

This weeks chat is all about Oregon wine, fun grapes and baby goats. Yep, you read that correctly. 😎

In honor of Oregon Wine Month, we sat down with Kyle Hall, Sales Director at Johan Vineyards, to chat about what makes Oregon such a special place for wine—and how Johan’s commitment to biodynamic farming shapes every bottle they produce.

From thoughtful farming to expressive wines, this conversation is a deep dive into the philosophy behind one of Oregon’s most respected producers.
Watch the full interview and explore the world of Oregon wine with us. 🍷

May Wine Club is here and we’re continuing the celebration of Oregon Wine Month with this allocation!😎

This month’s theme all started because of the Analemma En Vaso, and then it just spiraled from there. The more we tasted, the more we loved... from Gamay vermouth to Sangiovese inspired by an Italian icon (the label is a riff — let us know if you recognize it!), complete with extended barrel and bottle aging, hand bottled and labeled and even brought up from the winery by the owner himself today. Even those in our Bubble Club are getting the Oregon treatment, with a local Blanc de Blancs taking the lead! But don’t worry... we didn’t forget some classic Champagne for you too.

Pick up available now through June 1st - after that we’ll keep it safe in offsite storage until you’re able to coordinate with our team to pick up!

🍷Walter’s Red & White Club (2 bottle club)
2024 Bow & Arrow | Willamette Valley | Melon B

2022 Analemma En Vaso | Mosier HIlls, Columbia Gorge | Grenache & Mencia

🍷Walter’s World Club (4 bottle club) along with the two bottles listed above you will also be taking home:

2021 Sacred Shore Classico | Treos Vineyard, Willamette Valley | Sangiovese

NV Color Collector Vermouth | Willamette Valley & Columbia Gorge | Gamay

🍾Bubble Club:
2021 Concinnitas Blanc de Blancs | Yamhill-Carlton AVA, Willamette Valley | Chardonnay, AligotĂŠ

2019 Francis Boulard Les Murgiers Brut Nature | Montagne de Reims, VallĂŠe de la Marne | 100% Pinot Meunier

Come grab yours soon!

Who says Tuesday’s can’t be fun? 😎 Block your calendar for the next few weeks cause we’ve got some super fun tastings planned for you!

May 19th: When we met Anthony from Abundancia a little over a year ago, we were struck by their story. The family works altogether to run this little winery and farm their land. Focused on sustainability, great farming, and Spanish varieties in the Chehalem Mountains, their take on Oregon wine is unique! Come give these wines a taste and support a super small, self-distributed Oregon producer.

May 26th: Willamette Valley Pinot Noirs! Iconic. But you knew that. 😉 Come wrap up Oregon wine month with us as well celebrate some of our favorite Pinots!

June 2nd: We’re kicking of June with a tasting of wines that go beyond the usual... hybrid grapes, unconventional blends, and producers taking their regions in entirely new directions!

Tastings take place from 5:00-7:00 PM and are $15/tasting with a $5 credit towards a bottle purchase! Walk-ins welcome!

Happy May aka Oregon Wine Month! 😎

Sit down with Mandy as she chats with Master of Wine, Bree Stock! Winemaker for both Concinnitas Farm and Limited Addition wines out of Willamette Valley!

If you know Bree, you know she is a powerhouse in the PNW wine scene and we chatted about her winemaking philosophy, what makes Oregon terroir so special and the future of the wine scene in her neck of the woods.

We’re also pumped to be welcoming the other half of the winemaking team at Concinnitas Farm & Limited Addition - Brad Stock for an entire class around Oregon on Monday, May 18th - tickets now available!

As we wrap up April we’ve still got one big question on our mind: what does sustainability within the world of wine look like?

During our sit down with Masters of Wine Bree Stock and Melissa Saunders, we discussed what that term means to both of them!

Check out our full conversation with the two powerhouses on our Youtube channel.

Now that Earth Day has come and gone (you did know it was Earth Day, right? It wasn’t just our inbox? 😅), it felt like a good excuse to highlight something we care a lot about around here — wines that are farmed well and made with intention.

We’re especially excited to welcome Kyle Hall from Johan Vineyards this coming Tuesday. Johan is a bit of an icon when it comes to biodiversity and biodynamic farming in the Willamette Valley.

As early adopters of biodynamics (they have been organic since the beginning), they have been a fully Demeter-certified estate, farming with a holistic, self-sustaining approach for more than 15 years.

They’re also recognized for being deeply committed to biodiversity, maintaining significant portions of their land as natural preserve and grafting a wide range of grape varieties instead of the usual Chardonnay and Pinot Noir as an intentional way to support a healthier farm and create more dynamic, resilient wines.

We’ll be tasting through their lineup with Kyle here 5-pm to answer all your biodynamic questions! 🌎🍷

Tastings are $15 per tasting with a $5 credit towards a bottle purchase!

Wine club members, Spring Break is over! Come grab your April allocation today! 🍷🌎

In support of Earth Day, we decided to focus broadly on sustainability for this release. Covering topics from biodynamic farming to irrigation and beyond, we hope to show you not just how delicious sustainable and responsible wines can be, but how they can contribute to climate resilience and diversity as a way of buffering climate challenges.

A quick reminder:
Our little club keeps growing (50+ members — can we still call it little?!), and while we love testing how much wine we can fit in the shop 😂, we’ve had to tweak pickup a bit. As a reminder, releases are held onsite for 2 weeks after the release date. After that, we move them to off-site storage.

They’re still available for pickup, but a $10 fee will be added to your next month’s release to cover storage and the coordination of getting your bottles from storage back to you. To avoid this fee, please make sure to pick up by the weekend of May 1st!
