Friday night is here, neighbors and we’ve got some good bottles ready to pour! This week, we’re featuring four w**es with plenty of personality, starting with Agustí Torelló Mata Celler Kripta Franc Brut, a beautifully fresh Corpinnat sparkling w**e that brings Ch*****ne character without the Ch*****ne price. We’ll also have a crisp, green-apple Grüner Veltliner from Austria, a juicy, fruit-filled Albariño from Spain, and a silky, lightly funky orange w**e from Slovenia with notes of dried apricot, fig, and caramel. Four bottles, four different personalities, and plenty worth tasting. It’s Friday and we’ve got a familiar face back behind the bottles tonight! Our former W**ey Neighbor teammate Ellis is joining us to pour four standout bottles: Domaine Christophe Mittnacht ‘Terres d’Etoiles’ Pinot Noir from Alsace, BloodRoot Undertow Red Blend from Sonoma, Weingut Knewitz Grüner Silvaner Trocken from Germany, and Hermann J. Wiemer Field White from New York’s Finger Lakes. From delicate, earthy red fruit to juicy dark berries and fresh, silky whites, there’s plenty of variety to enjoy. It’s Thursday night and we’re still opening a few bottles! Tonight, we’re pouring four w**es from France, California and Austria, from a bright, lemony Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc to a rich, tropical Paso Robles Chardonnay. We’ll also have a lively Austrian rosé with strawberry and cassis notes, plus a juicy Zweigelt full of cherry flavor. There’s a little something for everyone, whether you’re in the mood for crisp and refreshing or round and fruit-forward. Stop by from 6–8 PM, taste a few with us, say hello and take home a bottle for this weekend!

Summer may be over, but around here, rosé is welcome all year long! This Friday, we’re getting together over four lovely w**es from France and Portugal, showing just how many different sides red grapes can have; from a fresh, berry-filled natural rosé from northern Portugal and a light, chillable Jura red to a silky Burgundy Pinot Noir and a deep, full-bodied red from Portugal’s Douro Valley. All are made from organically farmed grapes, and two are natural w**es, so there’s plenty to talk about and taste. Whether you’re still in a rosé mood or ready for something a little heartier as the weather cools, come pull up a spot and find your favorite. We’ll be pouring from 6–8 PM at The W**ey Neighbor, so stop in, say hello, catch up with your neighbors, and pick up a bottle for the weekend. We’d love to see you!

Friday night at The W**ey Neighbor, we’re pouring four bottles with plenty of personality from Hungary and Greece. From Hungary, we have a floral, fresh-plum Kékfrankos with silky tannins and a fuller-bodied Hárslevelű packed with ripe pear, peach, and savory herbs. Greece brings us two orange w**e: a skin-contact Roditis with texture and depth and a floral Moschofilero with juicy stone fruit and refreshing acidity. It’s a fun mix of flavors and styles, with something a little different in every glass. Fall is finally here….And tonight we’re pouring the kind of w**es that make you want to slow down, cook something comforting, and settle into the weekend. From Calabretta Cala Cala Rosso from Sicily and Cortes de Cima Chaminé Tinto from Portugal to Alegre y Valgañón Tinto Rioja and Wyatt Chardonnay from Lodi, these are bottles with earthy fruit, spice, silky texture and just enough richness for the season. Think creamy pasta, squash soup, a little charcuterie on the coffee table while watching your favorite flick or a long dinner with family (or friends) while the weather outside starts to change.

Summer is still trying to hang on and I say we let it; call up a few friends, put a pot of clams and mussels on the table, crack some cold bottles and make one more good night of it.

Tonight at The W**ey Neighbor, we’re pouring Broadacre Pinot Noir from Monterey, Bonnet-Huteau Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine Les Gautronnières Sur Lie from the Loire and Pierre Sparr Pinot Blanc from Alsace; 3 bottles that would feel right at home around a long table with good food and people you like. Come by, have a taste, tell us which one you’d bring to your own clambake and maybe take a bottle or two home for the weekend. There’s still a little summer left in the air and sometimes all you need is a few friends, a satisfying meal, good conversation and a bottle of w**e to make it last a little longer.
