Come by The W**ey Neighbor and try Balea Txakoli Rosé from Spain’s Basque Country, a bone-dry, crisp, lightly fizzy and made by the organic family estate Lasalde Elkartea. Also featuring Casale delle Campore, a juicy, fruit-forward chillable red from Maremma, Italy. Come taste with us and grab these two gems to bring home for your Labor Day weekend. There’s something special about these last weeks of summer in the neighborhood; the warm evenings, familiar faces, friends stopping by and the feeling that we can squeeze in just a little more summer before fall arrives. This Friday, we’re pouring Ponte Branco Vinho Verde Mino, Portugal, a refreshing white made for these lingering summer days, alongside Nespoli Le Coste Trebbiano from Emilia-Romagna, Italy, a bright, food-friendly white that’s just as happy on your backyard or roof top as it is in your glass. We’ve enjoyed sharing these summer w**es with you all season and we’d love to spend one more tasting together before summer gives way to fall. Come by The W**ey Neighbor this Friday from 6–8 PM, have a taste, say hello and maybe take home a bottle to stretch summer just a little bit longer.

After a lot of work behind the scenes, our new website is finally here. A huge thank you to Melissa for her endless effort, patience, and talent in making this happen. She put a ton into this, and it shows.
We kept everything you come to The W**ey Neighbor for, but made the online shop easier to browse, added more things to read, and brought some of the stuff we normally do across the counter online. One of our favorites is W**e by Style because most of the time you’re not asking us for a specific region. You’re asking for something crisp, something big, something juicy, or something easy to drink.
So now you can shop by weight, texture, and fruit, from Effervescent to Earthy & Structured. Basically, putting some of the things we’d normally tell you across the counter onto the website. No w**e class. No jargon. No 500-word tasting notes. Just useful answers to the questions we get asked all the time.
And one important change: we’re getting rid of the app. Going forward, online orders can only be placed through our website.
Shop the new site: https://w**eyneighbor.com/
Take a look around. We think you’re going to like it. Cheers!!

This Friday, we’re getting a little weird—in the best possible way.

We’re pouring TWO orange w**es from two very different places:

Château Puech Redon Sensitive Blanc
Languedoc-Roussillon - France • 100% Viognier

Organic, textured, a little wild, and definitely not your grandma’s Viognier. Made by Cyril Cuche with w**emaker Eric Texier. It’s delicious and fun to drink so no need to be so Sensitive!

Štekar Goriška Brda Rebula
Primorska Slovenia • 100% Rebula
Skin-contact, minimal-intervention, savory, fresh and full of personality. The Štekar family has been making the kind of w**es that make you stop and say, “Wait… what the hell am I drinking?” followed quickly by, “Can I get another bottle?”

Friday | 6–8 PM
The W**ey Neighbor

No reservations. No w**e lecture. No pressure. Just good bottles and a couple of glasses waiting for you.

Come hang. Taste some OJs. Maybe leave with a bottle…Or two. We won’t judge.

Join us tonight as we pour w**es from passionate w**emakers whose stories are as compelling as the bottles they create.

•NDub’s Red Blend Aslina W**es, Stellenbosch, South Africa
Ntsiki Biyela made history as South Africa’s first Black woman w**emaker before launching her own w**ery, Aslina. Guided by the wisdom of her grandmother and a determination to forge her own path, Ntsiki crafts w**es that are both expressive and approachable. NDub’s Red Blend marries Pinotage and Shiraz into a w**e bursting with juicy dark fruit, savory spice, velvety texture, and vibrant freshness. It’s the kind of red that begs for grilled meats, smoky vegetables, and good company.
•Isle Saint Pierre Rosé, Rhône, France
Produced on a tiny island in the middle of the Rhône River, Isle Saint Pierre has earned a reputation for creating some of France’s most delicious values. This rosé blends red and white grapes to create a w**e that is crisp, dry, and refreshingly bright, while offering an extra layer of complexity and depth rarely found at this price point. Summer in a glass.
•Galipette Accordion W**es, Accord, New York
Crafted by Malou, a native of southern France now making w**e in Accord, New York, Galipette showcases the beauty of thoughtful natural w**emaking. Produced in a small barn w**ery, this vibrant bottling is full of lively fruit, energy, and charm. Malou’s careful approach proves that natural w**es can be both expressive and beautifully balanced, letting the fruit shine through every sip.

Stop by, taste through the lineup, and discover a bottle you’ll want to bring home for the weekend.

Friday Night W**e Tasting at The W**ey Neighbor

Tonight from 6 PM–8 PM, we’re pouring w**es made for summer grilling season!

Think smoky meats, charred vegetables, backyard barbecues, and w**es that shine alongside them. We’ll explore how certain w**emaking techniques create reds that are surprisingly fresh, vibrant, and delicious with a slight chill; even when they’re full of flavor and character.

On the tasting table tonight:

Alexander Koppitsch Homok (Austria) – a skin-contact field blend bursting with peachy, juicy personality.

Celler 9+ 2n (Catalonia) – a Mediterranean red blend packed with energy and spice.

Las Jaras Slipper Sippers Nouveau (California) – a crowd favorite that’s bright, playful, and dangerously easy to drink.

Pheasant’s Tears Saperavi (Georgia) – an unfiltered red with depth, history, and plenty of intrigue.

Come taste, learn, and discover your next favorite bottle before taking it home. Whether you’re stocking up for the weekend cookout or simply looking for something new, we’ve got a glass waiting for you.
