Howdy Folks, comin' up on Tuesday the 24th we've got a Meet the Winemaker event! We're spending time with Ben Jordan from Lightwell Survey and Common Wealth. Making wines in Virginia he is constantly exploring new ways to express the terroir of the Shenandoah Valley with his Lightwell Survey project. Ben is also one of the cofounders of Common Wealth Crush, alongside New York's Lee Cambell, which is a collective of small producers building community and working together on the next generation of Virginia wines.

RSVP Required! This class will be part lecture and part Q&A style, where you'll have a chance to ask natural wine questions you've been pondering over. So come on by and let's sip some tasty wines while we hang out with our neighbors and hear about cool US natural wine. Seats are limited, so be sure to RSVP through the link in our bio. Making wine in Uco Valley, Argentina, she works alongside her father, they're farming organically and fermenting with native yeasts. New wines in from Fatim at ! Shes making all natty delicious biz in Perpignan, and now it's here for the first time ever! We have some lovely Carignans, a Syrah, some skin-contact Muscat and a Macabeau. Very limited quantities, so if you have any questions please come by and ask :)

This Sunday we have another Meet the Winemaker event! This time we're spending time with Paula Sandoval of Cal Xurriu. Making wine in Penedés, Spain, she works biodynamically with respect for the surrounding plants and animals as an integrated ecosystem. She also is a chef and has a restaurant near-to the vineyard.
