A rare and old Japanese whisky from Yamazakura, aged for more than 35 years. It was initially matured in bourbon casks and reportedly finished for approximately one year in sherry casks. This expression was specially hand-bottled at cask strength.
This whisky is elegant and supremely well-balanced, with a rounded character that delivers a complex array of flavours. These include notes of crisp buttered toast, ripe apricots with an oily texture, and a long, lingering, and warm finish.
This is a very rare find, with only 55 bottles released in November 2020. Each one was hand-crafted by Japanese Artisan Hideaki Kakurai, making every bottle unique.
「山櫻」（Yamazakura）的珍稀陳年日本威士忌，熟成超過 35 年。其最初於波本桶中陳年，據報其後大約再有一年在雪莉桶中進行過桶熟成。此酒款特別以原桶強度手工裝瓶。
成酒風格優雅、極致均衡且口感圓潤，同時呈現出層次豐富的風味，包括酥脆的奶油吐司、帶有油潤質感的熟成杏桃，以及悠長而溫暖的餘韻。
這是一款極為難得的珍品，僅在 2020 年 11 月釋出55 瓶。每一瓶皆由日本工匠 Hideaki Kakurai（櫻井英明）親手打造，使得每一瓶都獨一無二。
