A limited edition release from single cask no.94 whisky from Springbank Distillery. It was distilled in 1994 and matured for 30 years in a refill Oloroso sherry cask before bottling in 2025. Only 118 bottles were released.

The long aging created a balanced profile with floral notes, tropical fruits, and hints of lavender. These flavors blend with Springbank’s classic style, showing mineral and slightly salty notes. The cask also adds light smoke and touches of dark berries.

The bottle features a golden and silver engraving of an ancient dragon in a mosaic design. It is presented in an elegant box.

Miyagikyo 12 Years Old Japanese Single Malt Whisky, a vintage bottling from the Miyagikyo Distillery labelled as “Sendai Miyagikyo” and likely to have been released between late 1990s and mid 2000s. (though the code on the back label confirms the bottling date to be perhaps 2006).

In 2015 Nikka discontinued all aged Miyagikyo expressions due to aged stock shortage.

The 2012 release of Yamazaki Sherry Casks Single Malt Japanese whisky are now getting harder and harder to find. It’s a really well-balanced whisky that shows both the depth from the cask maturation and the character of Yamazaki’s distillate, with rich notes of sherry, dried fruit, chocolate, and spice. It’s also been very well rated, scoring 88+ on Whiskybase.

And with the 2013 Yamazaki Sherry Cask Matured also earning worldwide acclaim, including being named “World Whisky of the Year” in Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2015, it really highlights just how exceptional this whisky is and why it has such a strong global reputation.

The label is notable for its “Over 8 Years Old” age statement, a style associated with historic export bottlings, while the 1965 vintage places it among the more desirable post-war Aberlour releases. The bottle retains the original tax seal on the capsule from Rinaldi imports.

Of particular interest is “Unblended All Malt” description, a vintage marketing term indicating a whisky is exclusively from 100% malted barley and drawn from a single distillery, without being blended with grain whisky, before modern terminology such as “single malt” became standard.

This old Speyside malt carries the hallmarks of a bygone era and remains a desirable release among collectors seeking early distillery bottlings with strong visual appeal and historic significance.

A rare vintage bottling from 1959 aged for an incredible 63 years in first-fill sherry cask 3665 that is increasingly difficult to find, with highly regarded scores of 92+ on Whiskybase and 93/5 Stars on WhiskyFun.

The third release in Gordon & MacPhail’s historic rare whisky series pays tribute to George Urquhart, second-generation member of the family behind Gordon & MacPhail. Distilled on 15 October 1959 and matured for 63 years in first-fill sherry cask 3665, it was bottled on 2 November 2022 at natural cask strength, 56.5% ABV, with only 368 bottles released.

Mr George, regarded as the “father of single malt” by renowned whisky writer Charlie MacLean began working with the business in 1933 and later created the iconic Connoisseurs Choice in 1968 to shine the spotlight on single malt whiskies that mostly ended up in blend, including his personal favourite, Glen Grant.
