What an incredible day sharing our passion for Whisky and the “Philosophy behind our Single Cask Selections – the WHY, the WHAT and the HOW”!

A huge thank you to all the whisky lovers who joined the Mizunara Masterclass, hosted by our founder, Mr. Chandrakant Mohanty.

Since 2014, as an independent bottler, Mizunara has been driven by the joy of discovery and the character found in every whisky — each one telling its own story of origin, terroir and people. Every cask is selected via a rigorous process that is designed to understand and respect the distillery’s craft and a whisky’s own individuality while staying true to Mizunara’s philosophy.

Our bottlings are created in collaboration with remarkable distilleries and partners around the world: Arran, Glen Moray, Ardmore, Kilchoman in Scotland; Kanosuke, Mars Komagatake, and Asaka in Japan; Sullivans Cove in Australia; Pōkeno in New Zealand; Milk & Honey in Israel; and Silver Seal in Italy.

We are delighted to present an exclusive whisky masterclass, “The PHILOSOPHY of our CASK Selection: A Journey since 2014 with MIZUNARA,” at the Hong Kong Whisky Festival 2026. Join our Founder & Director, Mr. Chandrakant Mohanty, as he walks you through the “WHY, WHAT and HOW” of the Mizunara Cask Selection process, while exploring the depth and character of some of our private cask selections.

Tasting will be in a “BLIND & RANDOM” Sequence along with cask samples that Mizunara decided NOT to bottle. Participants have to pick what they would bottle Vs what Mizunara actually bottled! Its going to be a fun 45 minutes!
