Wrapped in crisp caramel, dried red fruits emerge — reminiscent of strawberries and red berries — carried on waves of deep peat and the gentle ash of a glowing hearth. On the palate, the whisky is rich and silky, layered with sweet honeyed barbecue sauce and full, smoky malt. The finish lingers softly, with tender peat and the playful sweetness of fruit pastilles.
