🌿 From vineyards cultivated through biodynamic agriculture and hand-harvested grapes, our Natura Xarel·lo is born. A wine that gazes at the stars but is deeply rooted in the calcareous soils of Penedès. Fresh, saline, and with the characteristic bitter finish of xarel·lo, it conveys the essence of nature through white fruit, citrus notes, and herbal hints.

🌿 De viñas cultivadas mediante agricultura biodinámica y uva vendimiada a mano nace nuestro Natura Xarel·lo. Un vino que mira a las estrellas, pero se arraiga con fuerza en los suelos calcáreos del Penedès. Fresco, salino y con el característico final amargo del xarel·lo, transmite la esencia de la naturaleza a través de la fruta blanca, los cítricos y las notas herbáceas.

🌼 In the vineyard, the sap has started to rise. The first shoots emerge between the rows, and on the edges, the small and humble flowers bloom once again. With this slow and steady movement of the earth, the new harvest of our Blanc de Blancs arrives — a fresh, clean, and fruity xarel·lo that captures the taste of this awakening: the tender green of freshly cut grass, the warmth of the first sun that does not yet burn, and youthful floral aromas. 🌼 En el viñedo, la savia ha empezado a subir. Los primeros brotes sobresalen entre las hileras y, en los márgenes, las flores pequeñas y humildes vuelven a florecer. Con este movimiento lento y seguro de la tierra, llega la nueva cosecha de nuestro Blanc de Blancs, un xarel·lo fresco, limpio y afrutado, que lleva consigo el sabor de este despertar: el verdor tierno de la hierba recién cortada, la calidez del primer sol que aún no quema y aromas florales de juventud. ¡No te lo pierdas!

🎗️💛 Beca Pau Massana 2025: Un acto cargado de emoción y compromiso 💛🎗️

El pasado jueves 11 de abril vivimos una jornada muy especial en nuestra sede central de La Granada, con la entrega de la Beca Pau Massana 2025 para la investigación de enfermedades minoritarias.

Un evento lleno de humanidad y esperanza, que este año destinará 25.000 € a un proyecto sobre el síndrome de Prader-Willi, liderado por el I3PT Parc Taulí de Sabadell.

Gracias a las 2.500 botellas de cava solidario que volaron en pocos días y a la solidaridad de nuestros clientes, hemos hecho realidad una nueva edición de esta iniciativa tan querida. 💬🍾

Gracias a todas las personas que habéis participado, especialmente a las investigadoras, familias y profesionales de la salud que nos emocionaron con sus testimonios. Y, como siempre, gracias por hacer posible este proyecto que nace del amor y el compromiso.

Seguimos sumando esfuerzos por un mundo mejor. 💛

Last Thursday, April 10th, Maset's headquarters in La Granada hosted a deeply moving and meaningful event: the awarding of the 2025 Pau Massana Grant for research into rare diseases. The event, which was filled to capacity, was hosted by Ismael Ávila, head of sponsorship at the Parc Taulí Research and Innovation Institute (I3PT).

🏅 Natura Xarel·lo 2024 was awarded Grand Gold at the GIROVÍ’25 competition, confirming its place among the best young white wines of the year. Our 1777 2020 received Gold, and the rosé Eufòria 2024 won Silver. Three medals that celebrate our commitment to quality and authenticity.

🐚 Millions of years after the sea withdrew from the Central coast depression, the chardonnay strains flourish over limestone grounds and coral fossils, with the strength of the Mediterranean siroco and levantina winds. Marine influence in a fresh, mineral wine that reminds us of long ago, when the Penedès was under the sea.

This 1777 reserva red wine is our special tribute to the year Maset del Lleó, the Massana family’s ancestral home, was built. The winery’s history dates back to that year when the land was still under the Abbey of Montserrat’s rule, and the Massana family, now the owners, had to pay tributes to cultivate it. Since then, ten generations of our family have dedicated themselves to viticulture and winemaking, crafting wines that reflect the immense potential of the Penedès terroir.

Este vino tinto reserva 1777 es nuestro especial homenaje al año de construcción de Maset del Lleó, la casa solariega de la familia Massana. La historia de la bodega se remonta a ese año, cuando las tierras todavía eran feudo de la Abadía de Montserrat y la familia Massana, hoy propietaria, tenía que pagar tributos para poderlas trabajar. Desde entonces, diez generaciones de nuestra familia se han dedicado al cultivo del viñedo y a la elaboración de vinos que expresen el inmenso potencial del terruño del Penedès.

03/05/25 - The clay-limestone soils of Teuleria dels Àlbers have a high water retention capacity but can also become compacted over time. That is why, in recent days, we have carried out a crucial task: we have loosened the soil using a disc harrow, working at an intermediate depth between conventional plowing and rototilling. The goal is clear: to remove weeds that could compete with the young vine roots while also improving the soil structure.

05/03/25 - Los suelos arcillocalcáreos de la Teuleria dels Àlbers tienen una gran capacidad de retención de agua, pero también pueden compactarse con el tiempo. Por ello, en estos días hemos llevado a cabo una labor fundamental: hemos removido la tierra con una arada de discos, trabajando a una profundidad intermedia entre el arado convencional y el paso de la fresa. El objetivo es claro: eliminar las hierbas que podrían competir con las jóvenes raíces de las cepas y, al mismo tiempo, favorecer una mejor estructura del suelo.
