Coccinella Vinotopia Berlin – Italian Summer #6 · A Syrah Homage to Vinotopia 🍇

Finishing in north-western Sicily.

Coccinella 2022 is our tribute to Ludovic and his French friends. With this Syrah from Aldo Viola, we present a special interpretation of this grape variety: close to, yet distinct from, the French tradition.

Grown under the warm Sicilian sun, Aldo preserves the natural freshness of Syrah by vinifying exclusively in stainless steel. The result is a w**e built on verticality: revealing aromas of wild red berries, Mediterranean herbs and delicate spicy notes. Fine tannins and lively acidity create a refined structure, leading to a long, vibrant finish marked by freshness and purity.

Serve slightly chilled.

Techs
→ 100% Syrah
→ 4 weeks of maceration
→ Aged for 10 months in stainless steel tanks

Anarkoide Vinotopia Berlin – Italian Summer #5 · Juicy Red with Attitude 🌳🍓

Piedmont invites us back north.

Anarkoide 2023 from is a spectacularly joyful w**e. Made from the native Grignolino grape, it offers a beautiful expression of wild strawberries: joyful, vivid and endlessly drinkable without ever becoming kitschy. Grignolino's typical yet subtle tannins create the perfect contrast, giving this summer red a wonderful finish—where contrast turns into happiness.

Deirdre and Maurizio work in the Monferrato region, east of Turin, where their vineyard is completely surrounded by forests and protected from industrial agriculture. Made exclusively in cement tanks, Anarkoide combines the lightness we love in a summer red with the quiet depth of a Piedmontese w**e.

Serve lightly chilled.

Techs
→ 100% Grignolino
→ Aged for 11 months in cement tanks
→ Vineyards at 350 m above sea level

Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Vinotopia Berlin – Italian Summer #4 · The Balance of the Heartland 🌹

Arriving in the energetic heart of Italy: Abruzzo.

Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 2024 from Vini Bossanova is our rosé for the summer. Born from the powerful Montepulciano grape, it transforms depth into elegance: vibrant in colour, expressive in aroma, yet lifted by a remarkable freshness.

A w**e built on contrasts: intensity and lightness, Mediterranean warmth and mountain freshness. Andrea Quaglia's vineyards sit in a unique position—just 5 km from the Adriatic Sea and 10 km from the mountains—capturing the energy of this landscape.

Working exclusively with cement tanks, the w**e develops a velvety texture while keeping its precision and movement. A contemporary expression of a deeply traditional Abruzzese style.

Techs
→ Soft direct press
→ Aged for 12 months in cement tanks
→ Vineyards at 240 m above sea level

Stile Alpino Vinotopia Berlin – Italian Summer #3 · White Clarity from the Dolomites 🏔️

Heading north into the Alps.

Stile Alpino is Patrick Uccelli's latest creation at Patrick Uccelli : a cuvée bringing together some of South Tyrol's defining grape varieties. Not to showcase each of them individually, but to create something greater than the sum of its parts: a w**e of effortless clarity—light on its feet, immensely drinkable, yet quietly complete.

Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay and Manzoni Bianco form the w**e's clear backbone, bringing freshness without sacrificing texture. Manzoni Bianco—a century-old crossing of Chardonnay and Riesling—adds its fine, integrated acidity. A touch of Pinot Grigio softens the edges, while just enough Gewürztraminer lends a subtle aromatic lift. You might not notice it immediately—but the w**e wouldn't be quite the same without it.

Techs
→ 30% Pinot Bianco · 30% Chardonnay · 30% Manzoni Bianco · 5% Pinot Grigio · 5% Gewürztraminer
→ Aged in big barrels and stainless steel tanks
→ Vineyards at 340–410 m above sea level

Midia Vinotopia Berlin – Italian Summer #2 · The Sea Winds of Marsala 🌊

From the volcanic slopes of Etna to the western edge of Sicily.

Midia 2024 comes from the hills around Marsala, shaped by the constant westerly winds blowing in from the Mediterranean. A w**e that speaks of sea and openness—but in a surprisingly "vertical" voice.

Made from 100% Grillo, Midia offers a distinctive expression of the grape. This native Sicilian, semi-aromatic variety often tends towards generosity. Midia reveals another side: crisp, salty and finely drawn, allowing the grape's gentle aromatics to emerge without ever becoming expansive—a w**e with remarkable tension in every sip.

Techs
→ Soft direct press (yes, a white 😉)
→ 100% Grillo
→ Aged for 9 months in stainless steel tanks
→ Vineyards at 250 m above sea level
