A motley crew of booze this week!

Bellebonne delivering a fresh Tassie bubbles just in time for Xmas! Exceptional stuff!

Lenton Brae W**es fresh of an award with Halliday. Big time stuff by a small producer. WA continues to deliver.

The last The GlenAllachie Distillery rye wood finish. We’re very lucky to secure the last few bottles, we don’t expect this to last long.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐎𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐋 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐊𝐄𝐘 bottled in bond. Bourbon done well at 50% abv. We were limited to 3x bottles, so first in first served.

Mixing it up this Friday with local and international w**es making the pour list.

Dream Bird W**es with a dreamy Vermentino out of Margs. Perfect with our ocean trout crudo.

Domaine Roland Lavantureux putting Chablis back on the list. An excellent example. We’ve also got some of their other Chablis in our retail space 👀

Lonely Shore Grenache! God damn this is good. Graphite and pencil shavings lead the way with a savoury rather than fruity palate.

W**e To W**e providing an Italian Sangiovese to accompany the Australian one we’ve already got pouring. Two Sangiovese options 😮

And lastly Fraser Gallop Estate and their Parterre Cab Sauv. Sit in our window bay with a glass of this and the kangaroo loin. Thank us later!

Mixing it up with some new Mezcal this week and as per, some w**e!

Los Danzantes Oaxaca and Don Amado are here! The smokey more earthy cousin of Tequila. It’s lesser known but absolutely packs a punch with flavour. We’ve got a bottle open for those wanting to taste!

Domaine Roland Lavantureux and a tasty Chablis number. Chablis is a constant for us at Boobook, and this does not disappoint.

Domaine Sophie Claire and a delicious Riesling. Beautiful florals and classic crunch. This should absolutely be on the must buy list for this Summer.

And lastly, Domaine du Closel
This is a real treat. Effectively a grand cru of Chenin Blanc. We only have a couple of these. So any w**e lovers that want to impress, THIS IS IT!

White w**e and sunshine ☀️
Name a better combo….

Three fresh white w**e options. All delicious, all supplied by small independent distributors and all fresh glass options.

Flowstone W**es and a top tier SB from Margs.

Sisyphos Fine W**es has hit the nail on the head with this Pinot Blanc example from Seehof. A great food w**e, we’d suggest grabbing the crudo to accompany this!

No w**e list is complete without having a Fervor W**e
Mike and Callum are some of our favourite people. And consistently produce bangers. The Fiano is a delight to drink and even more delightful on a warm day.

As per usual, we’ve got plenty on by the glass. Grab your bestie, grab a table and settle in!

A double header this week! Swipe to see what else we’re slinging.

Giant Steps W**ery releasing Pinot Noir is absolutely a perk of the w**e trade. Getting to taste these bad boys and picking a few for the shop is what dreams are made of! Couple of favs featured - Bastard Hill and Coal River.

Bardstown Bourbon Company with a rum barrel finish, ah yes please! And Foursquare Rum USA no less! Very limited!

Naturally, with our VM, Danielle, hailing from NZ, there’s always going to be kiwi w**e featured on the shelves. This week has landed Felton Road Block 2 Chardonnay. There’s only 6 of these, and they’re in the fridge ready to drink.

Rounding out the new stuff is a new producer, Corner Inlet. Couple of Tassie Pinot Noirs. Juicy and very site specific. Cool looking labels too.

Come in, buy something new and don’t forget, complement ellen🌹 on her snazzy new shoes 👞

Keeping it pretty local this week with 3 out of 4 new pours coming from WA 💃

Plan B! W**es over delivering with their off dry Rizz. Perfectly balanced and VERY smashable.
As an added bonus, Plan B and their stable of w**es are open for tasting from 3pm

Jimi from The Legit W**e Company | Supply Co | Perth has dropped off the fresh W**es of Merritt Chardonnay. Everything Merrit touches turns to gold. A bargain at $17 a glass.

Gentle Folk with a laid back chilled red. Sangiovese dominated, super crunchy. You’ll have more than one, we promise.

Terra Slate Liquor with a Pinot Noir from Pemberton rounds out the group. A small producer with an outstanding example is exactly what we want to be sharing.

Bringing in the new week with both wh**ky and w**e!

Bladnoch Single Malt Wh**ky making a welcome return to the shelves. We’ve got our hands on the 8yr, the 16yr and the Alinta. We did have the 19yr, but it got snapped up before making it to the shelf 😮‍💨

For the w**es, it is red city baby! Three fresh options to either take home or drink here! 🍷🍷🍷

Vintage Fine W**e Distributors with a Sancerre red. Crunchy dried raspberry and a hint of graphite. PERFECT for a Spring arvo.

Lonely Shore and an incredibly limited release Grenache. Anything that comes from the stable of Lonely Shore is a guaranteed banger, this is no exception.

Xanadu W**es, Margaret River with their chart topping 2023 Cab Sauv. We don’t expect this to stick around long, so come in and grab one.

Alright guys, another Friday, another drop of fresh by the glass options.

Willunga 100 W**es delivering a very crisp, very easy to drink Piquepoul. Think Sauvignon Blanc and Albariño coming together to make a love child. Thanks Oatley Fine W**e Merchants for a warm weather smash hit.

Back by popular demand, Rustenberg W**es with a new take on an old school Chardonnay. Enough oak to shake a ln oak stick at, but a lick of acid to keep it in check 👅

And a classic with Moss Wood Amy’s red blend. Anyone familiar with Margaret River will know this is synonymous with the region.
