MICHELIN Guide has made history with its inaugural long-awaited guide to wineries: the MICHELIN Grape Selection. 🍇

In July, the renowned guide revealed its first Selection, awarding 94 domaines with one, two, or three MICHELIN Grapes. The prestigious French region was selected for the pioneering guide because of its birthplace as the modern concept of terroir, expressed by distinct wines crafted from a complex mosaic of vineyards, villages, and climats.

While some in the sector aren’t convinced that MICHELIN should enter the world of ‘winescape’ evaluation, the initiative mirrors a growing interest in exploring not only individual bottles from varying vintages but the people, vineyards, and philosophies behind them.
