Our queen, wrapped in love. 💜

Every Extra Añejo arrives in a scarf designed by Nick Oliver Ronceros, the incredible artist behind our iconic hummingbird. We didn’t want to send this release out in packaging that would end up tossed. We wanted something that could be worn, loved, or tied to the things you treasure.

Here’s the story of the design, in Nick’s words:

“Everything starts with the agave! So naturally, it had to be the star of the show. The solution was simple: place the bottle in the center and let the agave reach up and around it, just like it grows in the wild. From there, I layered in vibrant color stripes to bring out the agave’s mystical energy, then set it all against a deep purple sky, the celebratory color of our very first Extra Añejo. The golden rays breaking through represent the sun just breaking the horizon, welcoming a new day with Valor front and center, blazing a bold, bright, magical path into tequila’s future.”

Tonight, all across Mexico, El Grito rings out. It’s the cry of independence, echoing the call Father Hidalgo made in 1810 that began Mexico’s fight for freedom. Every September 15th at 11pm, plazas across the country fill with millions shouting “¡Viva México!” together. And tomorrow, we celebrate Independence Day. From our familia to yours, ¡Viva México! 🇲🇽

Valor makes tequila. Leobardo has spent his life studying what tequila takes from the land and the people, and how to give back. That’s why he’s the heart of Gente Buena in Mexico, the researcher from the University of Guadalajara who leads our work on the ground and turns our intentions into something real. He grew up in the Valley of Tequila. This is his home, and these are his people. Everything we do is guided by the experts who live here, and we feel incredibly lucky to work with some of the best humans. 💕💕💕

Valor turned 3 this week!! And what we know is that a small brand like ours is built by villages. Ours is full of people like Ernesto, our dear friend and the Director of Food and Beverage at PGA West Private. He took a chance on us before we turned one, championed us into our partnership with Century Golf and Palmer Advantage, and has been in our corner ever since. To Ernesto, and to everyone who has believed in us along the way: WE LOVE YOU! 🫶🏽🫶🏽
