'May' have had a dessert scone today too - absolutely delicious.

But fear not, it isn't just eating scones that's going on here at PBS HQ.

We've also got some new beers in for the Bank Holiday weekend. In the shop now is a very welcome return of beers. First batch this year. We have a West Coast IPA, a Black IPA, a NEIPA and an Amber Lager.

Joining them is a new brewery to the shop - from Bath. I love a cheeky little punny play on words. Had to look up Jurassic Thrive though (a play on Jurrassic 5), but Bohemian Raspberry is a bit more obvious.

Wonderful cakes from .bakery inside The Shipyard Market and juicy, sweet watermelon from out on the Harbour Head.

When only a balanced diet will do 😃

Fresh beers have arrived ready for the Bank Holiday weekend.

A restock of Pagan Juice and Mr Milksop from .

Some new ones from - Rice Lager, Marzen, Fram Booze and Alpine Cold IPA.

Last but not least, more amazing beers from - Path of the Sun, Grain Store, Let the Light In and Way Out West.

We are open today (Thursday) until Saturday 10am - 5pm and then Sunday 10am - 3pm(ish) inside .

Happy birthday to this absolute beast of an album.

40 years old today and still sounds as fresh, new and relevant as it did when released. This came out about 18 months before I discovered this wonderful music called 'heavy metal'.

I can remember the first time I heard this, sitting round a friend's house aged 18¾. I wasn't much younger than the 4 band members were when they wrote it. There they were, creating a masterpiece that would be revered for years to come and would put themselves on the world stage. And there was me, just sitting there eating some cheese spread on toast!! How our worlds were different.

From the Spanish guitar opening that lulled you in with a false sense of security, to the menacing, hushed whisper of the final line, this album influenced 100's, maybe 1000's that followed.

So to James, Cliff (RIP), Kirk and Lars - thank you so much, and happy birthday to this seminal album.

Apologies for the lack of music accompanying this post. I couldn't find any Metallica, nor could I work out how to. If anybody has any tips on how to do it, then please let me know.
