We are open all Bank Holiday weekend:
Saturday 8am-9pm
Sunday 8am-9pm
Monday 7am-9pm
Pop in for groceries, treats, takeaway & more…& don’t forget to take a peek at our Emporium: an Aladdin’s Cave of gifts, cards, books and toys.
You will also find our free to use playroom and library, tucked away upstairs.

We’ve had some beautiful new books just arrive.
Our little book room is upstairs in our emporium, and is filled with an eclectic mix of books…titles that I loved as a child, or enjoyed reading to my children; books that I have read recently and resonated with me; gorgeous copies of classics; and books that just jumped out and said “order me.”
As with everything in the shop, the book room has grown bit by bit, as I’ve followed my instincts, has been shaped by our wonderful team, and influenced by the suggestions of our incredible customers.

A few favourites from a new arrival of cards. We have an increasingly eclectic collection of cards, ranging from the outrageously funny, tear-inducingly touching, to the card you just didn’t know you needed. Pop upstairs in the emporium to find the majority of our cards.

Plants, plants, plants! 🪴 🌱 🪴 🌱
We’ve had a big delivery of veg, herb & fruit seedlings, straight from the farm. They are organically grown by hand, less than a mile away from the shop, and have arrived at the perfect time to get your veg patch planted.
We’ve also got a range of larger, ornamental plants in pots.

It’s a beautiful day here in Gweek. We are fully open and the power cut (the second of the year 😠) is a thing of the past. Pop down for groceries, coffee, lunch, gifts, ice cream or just a chat. We are open until 9pm.

We’ve got some tasty new frozen ready meals in stock from . They sounded yummy but could they really be cooked in 3.5 minutes? I gave it a go and….it’s true! Plus, it was absolutely delicious! A real treat and perfect for a special meal in a hurry. I also took the opportunity to try one of our new wines from : a fresh, tasty Spanish white.
