FUNDRAISING UPDATE. An amazing amount of funds raised so far being £47500 being a mixture of Shares purchased and Donations given. Thank you to all for the generosity shown to date. As mentioned at the public meeting on 27 May to enable the shop to reopen a minimum target of £50k is required but aiming for the £75k to £100k to ensure the shop future.
Shares are £1 each with a minimum purchase of £25 and this will give you a chance of being part of the Coverack Community Shop. We are nearly at the first milestone £50k figure, which feels like in reach at getting the shop reopened. Any money provided via shares or donations will make the difference now of reopening the shop. We are so close 😊
On behalf of the Coverack Community Shop Steering Group we thank everyone who has given to date. The link below will take you to the website with all the information to buy shares or make a donation.

Update from the Shop Steering Group

Coverack Community Shop
A quick update on our progress. We are currently waiting on the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) registration to be processed which we are advised should be complete within the next four weeks, The shop will then exist as a company (Community Benefit Society) which will then allow us to press ahead with the fund raising. In the meantime, we are making sure everything from giving the store a refresh, recruitment of staff, till and accounting systems, internet connection, insurance, health and safety and initial stock requirements are ready to go once the CBS is registered.
Please be assured the shop is on its way. There will be further communication and updates going forward.

And finally thank you to Mike Thirlaway who is going to attempt a 75km trek across the island of Andros (through some very tough terrain) over Easter and has offered to raise money for the shop via sponsorship of this feet.

Hi all, some of you may remember I broke my leg in Greece in Septem… Mike Thirlaway needs your support for Sponsored Trek to raise funds for new Coverack Shop
