We’ve re-stocked Black peas. A traditional Lancashire delicacy 😮‍💨 Perfect for bonfire night 🎇

1. Soak your dried peas overnight
2. Rinse and drain
3. Combine in a pan (some like to add diced onion and even beef stock) this isn’t essential however and is just personal preference
4. Boil for 20 minutes and then allow to simmer on a low heat for 2 to 3 hours until the peas are tender
5. Remove from heat and stir in salt, black pepper, a generous splash of vinegar and a k**b of butter.

And there you have it!

🏔️ BOSSMAN TAKES ON KILIMANJARO! 🏔️

From 13th–19th September 2026, our very own Bossman will be taking on the incredible challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro — all in support of two amazing causes close to our hearts. ❤️

We’ll be raising money for Ruben’s Awaken Love and Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, helping to support the incredible work they do for families and our local community.

Any donation, big or small, would mean so much. If you can’t donate, simply sharing this post would be hugely appreciated and help us spread the word! 🙏🏽
