On Derby Day, we present to you: 𝗕𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗻’𝘀 𝟰𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗹‼️ The Blanton’s brand was originally released in 1984 and contained no letters on the stoppers until 1999. In late 2024, Buffalo Trace bottled their most recent limited edition release of Blanton’s, the 40th anniversary bottle unique with a custom label, black bag, and most noticeably a custom white horse stopper. As a single barrel product, these are already in extremely limited supply, and it’s unknown publicly how many single barrels were bottled for this exclusive release.

With the announcement of the upcoming 12 year release from , and the winner of the big game, , (and yes of course we are fans here), we couldn’t think of a better time to showcase this incredibly rare lineup of Eagle Rare Bourbon. Eagle Rare was originally introduced in 1975 by Seagram’s, produced out of the Old Prentice Distillery in Lawrenceburg (now known as Four Roses). Label distinction and likely some bottling was later moved to Old Prentice in New Orleans and ultimately the brand was acquired by Sazerac in 1989 and is now produced out of the Buffalo Trace distillery in Frankfort. We present to you - various Eagle Rare iterations over time. A late 70’s Eagle Rare 10 year from the original distillation out of Lawrenceburg bottled at 101 proof (they also bottled some at 90 proof for the export market), an extremely rare 15 year bottled by the Old Prentice New Orleans distinction but likely contains original Lawrenceburg distillation, an Eagle Rare 17 which was first introduced as a new age statement on the brand in 2000, a standard version of the core product Eagle Rare 10 year, and then the 2 oldest age stated products in the Eagle Rare lineup, Double Eagle Very Rare which comes in at 20 years and the newest release which is the top of the mountain, the Eagle Rare 25 year.
