In honor of Juneteenth, we’re celebrating the talent of Black winemakers shaping the future of American wine, and featuring two remarkable voices 🍷

Both are sommeliers turned winemakers: André Hueston Mack of Maison Noir Wines, whose Burgundy-inspired “Oregogne” bottlings capture the dynamism & elegance of Willamette Valley — and Karl Kuhn, co-founder of novella wines in Virginia, crafting a savory, gastronomic rosé made from Cab Franc & Petit Manseng.

Gathering and community are at the heart of Juneteenth. This weekend, we’re raising a glass with these wines and to the winemakers whose creativity continues to shape what American wine can be.

Heart’s Delight is an annual four-day celebration of exceptional food and wine benefiting . Highlights included Jamie’s 27th year serving as the Auctioneer for the event, hosting a Judgement of Paris tasting reenactment, and attending the Collector’s Dinner together.
