Manuel Vermouth Extra Dry has joined the excellent Rojo at Bitters & Bottles. Uniquely this Spanish vermouth producer (who is focused on traditional methods, but with recipes featuring lower sugar, more acidity, and bitterness), breaks away from the herbal formula of most dry vermouths, instead drawing inspiration from and showcasing the salty, tangy bite of pickled guindilla peppers! 🥒🌶️

The base includes Amontillado sherry. The vermouth itself is dry and savory, with noticeable salinity, pickled pepper and apple notes, and a gently bitter finish.

Great shortcut to a dirty martini, excellent in a white negroni, or all by itself - maybe over a large ice cube with a pickle garnish. 🤤
