The Jerk with Steve Martin is one of my favorite movies of all time—and it has one of the greatest w**e scenes EVER filmed. 😂🍷

46 YEARS LATER…I finally get to HOLD the famous bottle from the movie!!!

Did I drink it? NO.

Did I open it? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Did I hold it like a grown man meeting one of his childhood heroes? YES. 😂

Forget First Growth Bordeaux. Forget DRC. Forget allocated bourbon.

For about 30 seconds, THIS was the greatest bottle in the world.

Amazing what shows up in this crazy business.

I LOVE THIS BUSINESS!!! 🍷😂

Just when I think I’ve reached an apex in my w**e career and tasting journey, I discover there is another level.

One of the lessons w**e continues to teach me is that it is truly a lifetime journey—measured not only by bottles and vintages, but by the friends, mentors, and fellow enthusiasts who share them.
