Apparently everyone else heard “Labor Day” and thought three-day weekend.

We heard “Labor.” 😭

So YES. WE’RE OPEN LABOR DAY.

🍔 Burgers? Yep.
🍗 Fried chicken? Obviously.
🍺 Cold b**r? For legal reasons, probably necessary.
🥪 Subs? We got you.
🧻 That one thing you forgot until every other place is closed? COME ON IN.

While you’re floating in a pool, sitting around a campfire, day-drinking responsibly, or posting “much needed long weekend ❤️” from your boat…

Just know somewhere in Sharpsburg, a Battleview employee is staring into the distance wondering what it feels like to have a federal holiday off. 😂

🚨 Apparently today is NATIONAL JUST BECAUSE DAY. 🚨

Which is honestly the kind of holiday we can get behind at Battleview. 😂

So here are some perfectly acceptable reasons to stop in today:

🍔 Get a cheeseburger — just because.
🍗 Buy some chicken — just because.
🍦 Get ice cream before lunch — JUST. BECAUSE.
🍺 Grab a cold one — because adulthood is exhausting.
🍷 Buy a bottle of w**e — no explanation necessary.
🥪 Order food even though you have perfectly good food at home — because you can.

And if anyone asks why you went to Battleview and spent $47 when you only stopped for a drink…

This beautiful spread was created for a bridal shower with the cutest sunflowers, boots & roses theme — and we had SO much fun bringing it all together! 💛

One of our favorite things about creating grazing tables is making each one a little different and matching it to the theme and personality of the celebration. And, of course, making sure it tastes just as good as it looks! 😍

And the woman normally behind all that deliciousness? Our amazing prep cook, Edy! ❤️

This week, Edy has been home recovering after feeling under the weather, which meant the rest of the team had to step in and try to fill her shoes.

And let us tell you something…

WE HAVE A WHOLE NEW APPRECIATION FOR EDY. 😂

Making all of this from scratch, keeping everything stocked, AND keeping up with how much you all go through is NO JOKE. Apparently these salads do not magically appear in the cooler every morning. Who knew?! 🤷‍♀️😂

Our crew has done an awesome job stepping up and helping out, but we are definitely ready to have our salad-making queen back where she belongs!

So next time you grab some pasta salad, chicken salad, cole slaw, or one of our other homemade favorites, just know there’s a whole lot of work—and a whole lot of Edy—behind it. ❤️

It’s that time of year again—our college crew is packing up and heading back to schools that aren’t exactly around the corner. 🎓😭 That means we need a few more awesome people to join the Battleview family!

We know there are some local college students out there who would like to make some money while earning that degree. 💰📚

We offer flexible schedules that work around your classes, because we know school comes first!

A couple important things:
