There have been some rumors going around and we want to clear the air. We love having our little store in Keedysville and wanted our customers to know exactly what happened.

The “friend” that has been spreading rumors was asked to respectfully leave the store after he started screaming at another customer who was a woman. We told him to leave to avoid any altercations between them. No-one made any disrespectful comments about military or veterans, in-fact it wasn’t even part of the conversation. We can’t even phantom saying such things. Our country would not be the America it is today without our veterans.

Only words that were said were “sir please leave”. He was told to leave multiple times and kept coming back. If anyone wants additional information, feel free to reach out to 301-432-6151.

We don’t have any animosity for the man that made the initial post. His friend told him a story that was a complete lie. He probably doesn’t know that his friend sent his family member along with their dog to buy his beer for him today. The same business he’s telling others to boycott, he’s shopping at himself because he knows he’s making up this entire story.

We know our customers can distinguish between right and wrong.
