Featuring the wines of Michel Autran

Michel Autran spent nearly 20 years as an emergency medicine doctor before the wine bug bit hard enough. He left medicine, apprenticed in the Loire, and started his domaine in 2011 with half a hectare. Working exclusively dry since 2017, a genuine rarity in Vouvray, his wines are precise, alive, and a little hard to put down.

Join as we pour three expressions: a pét-nat and two still Chenins.

Flowers for Mom (and Maybe for You Too)

This week we're partnering with Toadstool Flowers by to bring a little color to the shop. Wesley is a Portland-based landscape designer who grows many of his own flowers on a small farm in NE Portland, sourcing the rest from local growers. The result is exactly the kind of bouquet worth giving: thoughtful, seasonal, and lovely.

Fresh cut arrangements in vases, $25 each. Available starting Friday May 8th, while supplies last through the weekend.

Skin-contact wines have been around for centuries, but today's versions are some of the most fun, distinctive, and thought-provoking pours around. There's a reason they've moved from curiosity to staple.

This Wednesday we're pouring three that show just how much range the category has: Anapea Village Mtsvane Amber from Georgia, Radikon Slatnik from Friuli, and Mosse VDF Blanc Overmars from the Loire. Two continents, three traditions, one Wednesday night flight.
