Tasting notes & rating (1985)
Mellow golden-amber colour with aromas of dried apricot, orange peel, honeyed stone fruit and subtle fig notes, layered with soft honeyed spice and a hint of saffron. On the palate it’s luscious yet balanced — notes of candied citrus, preserving-jar peach, beeswax and warm pastry, finishing with gentle acidity and a lingering, elegant sweetness.
Rating: 85–88 / 100

Tasting notes & rating (1990)
Honeyed apricot, orange peel, and dried pineapple lead the nose, with hints of saffron and toasted almond. The palate is silky and mellow, showing caramelized stone fruit, soft citrus, and a gentle nutty finish. Still vibrant for its age, with elegant sweetness and lifted acidity. Drinking beautifully now.
