😳 Hard to believe it's August already?! This time of year brings the annual transition from summer beers to fall beers, as the Festies and 🎃 beers begin to hit. Bunch of those arriving. Also though, a fun slate of "regular" beer goodies hitting retail tomorrow, including a first time hit from Columbus Brewing Company (IPA & Bodhi), rarely seen drops from Half Acre Beer Company and Flying Machine Brewing Company, then new spreads from Notch Brewing, Tonewood Brewing, Civil Society Brewing, Humble Forager Brewery, and 3 Floyds Brewing! No particular feature this week on our taps but we do have some The Answer Brewpub on tap right now (with more to tap) and some Trillium Brewing Company, same thing.

♏️ Mortalis Brewing Company Draft Showcase!

This week we're showcasing 7 kegs of top tier liquid from Upstate NY's Mortalis. It's a rarity to see draft made available to us, so naturally we jumped on it and grabbed a nice spread to share with you all. One Hazy IPA, 3 Hazy DIPA's (including a Fidens Brewing Company collab), and 3 of their world-renowned Smoothie-Style Fruited Sour Ales (including an ill will brewing collab). Kegs will begin tapping as lines open, with all on tap no later than Friday at open. 9 canned options arrived today and are available now. We'll also have some fun new things coming out of the kitchen this week too, so grab cans, make a reservation, and come in for a pour and a bite!

-‘Eleanor’ Hazy IPA (7.0% ABV) “This IPA embraces our continuous chase for hop saturation in our IPAs. The fusion of Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, and Freestyle Manalita gives way to a citrus explosion with Sweet Tropical, Red Grapefruit, and Papaya aromas.”

-‘Persephone’ Hazy DIPA (8.0% ABV) “This Double IPA combines Citra and Krush hops. The combination lends flavors of ripe citrus, guava, and dank peaches. Previously known as Hades.”

-‘Gaia | Motueka’ Hazy DIPA (8.0% ABV) “This Double IPA starts with a base of Citra and Mosaic hops. We then focused on highlighting Motueka in the heavy dry hop. The soft, pillowy body is met with lemon-lime character, stone fruit, and ripe tropical fruit flavors.”

-‘We Know Steve’ Hazy DIPA (8.0% ABV) “This Double IPA was brewed in collaboration with close friends at Fidens. The soft, hazy body has been hopped with both Nelson and Citra. We know him, do you?”

-‘DemiHydra | Strawberry + Kiwi + Watermelon’ Sour Ale (5.0% ABV) “This Gluten Free Fruited Sour is focused on the lighter side of fruit & flavor. This version blends strawberry, kiwi, and watermelon to create a lower ABV, lighter-bodied, and easier-drinking version of our beloved Hydra Smoothies.”

-‘Gemini | Mango Piña Colada’ Sour Ale (7.0% ABV) “This Fruited Smoothie Sour is part of our Gemini Series that focuses on small one-off batches. The duality of complementary and sometimes contrasting fruits is blended with other adjuncts to enrich the flavors even further. This version features Mango, Pineapple, and Coconut.”

-‘Hydra | Hostility’ Sour Ale (7.0% ABV) “This Fruited Smoothie Sour was brewed in collaboration with ill will brewing. It blends cantaloupe, banana, pineapple, and pistachio together to form just one of this monster’s many heads. Keep your eyes peeled for even more flavor combinations.”
