Missed the Spring into Summer tasting? Here's one of the wines you missed.

The Unico Zelo Truffle Hound is a Nebbiolo and Barbera blend from Australia that tastes like it was made in Italy. Fully ripe, loads of flavor, and only 11.5% alcohol. The winemaking here is focused on pulling out the earthy, gamey, meaty side of things, with crunchy black cherry fruit that balances it perfectly.

As the winery puts it, this one is "for those that favor meaty, gaminess over bright plum fruit. An exploration for umami-like refreshment."

Pizza with mushrooms? Drink this.

I say Tuscan wine, and you probably think, "Sangiovese." But in Cortona, they do Tuscany differently.

Join winemaker Benedetto Baracchi on May 19th for five wines, great conversation, and a look at what makes Cortona special. The Baracchi family have been growing vines here since 1860, making Benedetto a 5th generation winegrower. You'll taste that heritage in every glass.
