We would like to welcome Jill Beard to the DGS family!!

Jill has always loved glass - the colors and movement created when light shines through fascinated her. After exploring mosaic and stained glass art, she found she wanted more control in shaping her work - to create a sense of movement within a piece. This is where her passion for fused glass began.
Born and raised in Norfolk, VA, her work is inspired by the calming beauty of the coast. Through a blend of colors and textures, she aims to capture the essence of the sea and shoreline in a simple and authentic way. Each piece reflects the peaceful and serene feeling of being by the water, inviting viewers to connect with nature and find moments of tranquility in their busy lives.
