Labor Day weekend, that perfect transition from summers end to fall’s beginning. Paula Red’s are here straight out of Hackett’s Orchard in South Hero. A sprightly treat not too sweet not too tart, vinous and slightly reminiscent of strawberries. Akin to McIntosh which will be here in about 2 weeks.
