Door County Distillery is one of the few hand-crafted distilleries in the state of Wisconsin and the first in Door County to produce vodka, gin and fruit infused vodka. The distillery is reminiscent of the casual, pastural surroundings of Door County and showcased in the stone-barn style feel of the building's exterior, yet modern and elegant inside, showcasing the copper still and small batch, on

-site production. The Distillery is classic Door County, as are the spirits, distilled with clean, limestone infused waters from the Door Peninsula. The first series release pays homage to the waters surrounding the county featuring the doors of lighthouses located in Door County. Come visit the new distillery open daily 9:00-6:00, with complimentary tastings.

Live Music Friday is here and today we've got Sonya & Geoff in the Wine and Cocktail Garden from 4-7 PM. Come enjoy this beautiful Door County day and listen to some amazing tunes while you enjoy a spirit flight, cocktail, or slushie! Pictured here is the Bourbon flight with original, Cherry, and Batsh*t Bourbons. We're open until 7 PM Fridays and Saturdays al summer long, so be sure you take advantage of the extra hours. Bringing you a fun cocktail recipe for ! Typically Brandy is paired with lemon, so we thought we’d switch it up a bit and use lime. This makes for a really refreshing, light cocktail with a hint of warmth from the Brandy. It’s a great summer sipper. Cheers!

Brandy Lime Sipper
2 oz Door County Distillery Brandy
1/2 oz sweetened lime juice
4-5 lime slices (reserve one for garnish)
1 teaspoon sugar
Club soda to fill

Add lime slices and sugar to a cocktail shaker. Muddle. Add ice to shaker, then add Brandy and lime juice. Shake until chilled and well combined. Strain into a cocktail glass filled with ice. Fill with club soda. Garnish with a lime slice.

Friday is here and we’re ready to enjoy the weekend! We’ve got Free Live Music this afternoon by Jordan Bayorgeon from Barefoot Americans. He’ll be performing from 4-7 pm in the Wine and Cocktail Garden. Enjoy your favorite cocktail or check out one of our new spirit flights like the Cherry flight pictured here. We also have Whiskey, Bourbon, and Botanical flights. Hope you’ll stop in and have some fun!

For the summer, we’ll be doing some cocktail recipes on instead of our normal Friday, and we’re starting today! We’ve got a smashingly easy recipe to close out cherry blossom season: the Cherry Bourbon Smash. The biggest thing you need is a muddler and you’re good to go. Cheers!

Cherry Bourbon Smash
2 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Bourbon
1/2 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Brandy Liqueur
1/2 lemon, cut into slices
6-8 Door County cherries, pitted (can also use maraschino cherries)
8-10 mint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
Club soda (optional)

Combine Cherry Brandy Liqueur, cherries, and lemon slices into a shaker tin. Muddle until the lemons and cherries are broken down. Add the mint leaves and gently muddle a few times to release the oil of the min leaves. Add ice and Cherry Bourbon to the shaker tin. Shake until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Top with club soda if desired. Garnish with a cherry and sprig of mint.

Happy Friday and welcome to Memorial Day weekend! We have something exciting to share with you: we have two NEW cocktails on our menu this season!

First, Off the Pole combines Luminous Vodka, passionfruit, and vanilla syrup with club soda. Next, the Raspberry Elderflower Lemonade starts with Gin and adds elderflower syrup, Razzle Dazzle Raspberry wine from , and lemonade.

Both these cocktails will be available in the tasting room and the Wine and Cocktail Garden. Come try one this weekend and join us for free live music Friday and Saturday afternoons. Cheers!

The weekend is almost here and we're kicking off the official 2026 opening of the Wine and Cocktail Garden in style!
