Door County Distillery is one of the few hand-crafted distilleries in the state of Wisconsin and the first in Door County to produce vodka, gin and fruit infused vodka. The distillery is reminiscent of the casual, pastural surroundings of Door County and showcased in the stone-barn style feel of the building's exterior, yet modern and elegant inside, showcasing the copper still and small batch, on

-site production. The Distillery is classic Door County, as are the spirits, distilled with clean, limestone infused waters from the Door Peninsula. The first series release pays homage to the waters surrounding the county featuring the doors of lighthouses located in Door County. Come visit the new distillery open daily 9:00-6:00, with complimentary tastings.

Hooray, it’s Friday! Join us for a cocktail like our Blackberry Whiskey Smash and some FREE live music! Today we have Leah Brooke playing a perfect mix of covers and originals from 4-7 pm in the Wine and Cocktail Garden.

is back! Today’s cocktail is in honor of National Daiquiri Day which is tomorrow, Saturday, July 19. We took inspiration from the Hemingway Daiquiri, which as the legend goes was created by Ernest Heminigway in the 1930s. Our version uses our Citrus Rum and Cherry Brandy Liqueur for a simple citrus forward refreshing sipper.

Don’t miss out on free live music this afternoon by Seth James. He’ll be performing all your favorite jams from 4-7 pm in the Wine and Cocktail Garden. Grab a spirit flight or cocktail and come hang in the garden with us…or stop in to the tasting room for some samples or bottles. We’d love to see you! Cheers!

Summer Citrus Daiquiri

2 1/2 oz Door County Distillery Citrus Rum
1 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Brandy Liqueur
1 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
3/4 oz triple sec

Combine all ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake until well chilled. Strain into martini or coupe glass.

Cherry Bourbon is back…this time for good! Just in time for cherry season, our newest batch of Cherry Bourbon is finally ready and back on our shelves with a brand new label.

More exciting news, Cherry Bourbon is no longer just a limited release-it’s now a permanent part of our spirit lineup! This means we’ll have Cherry Bourbon available full time, year round at the distillery. It also will soon be available at grocery and liquor stores throughout Wisconsin. Look for Cherry Bourbon at your nearest Wisconsin store by early August or stop in today and pick up some bottles at the distillery tasting bar. Cheers!

From all of us at Door County Distillery, Happy 4th of July! We hope your holiday weekend is a lot of fun and you stay safe. There is no Live Music this Friday due to the holiday, but we do have music Sunday afternoon. We'll be open normal hours all weekend so stop in and sample some spirits, grab a cocktail or Bomb Pop Slushie, and enjoy. Cheers!

It’s our first of July so we’re doubling down on cherry today! This easy Cherry Mule comes together quickly and disappears just as fast. If you like things a little sweeter, add the optional grenadine to bring out more of the sweet side of the Montmorency. Cheers and Happy 4th weekend!

Door County Cherry Mule

1 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Vodka
1 oz Door County Distillery Cherry Brandy Liqueur
1/2 lime, juiced
1/2 oz grenadine (optional)
4-5 oz ginger beer
Maraschino cherries and lime slice for garnish

Add Cherry Vodka, Cherry Brandy Liqueur, and lime juice to a mule mug filled with ice. Fill mug with ginger beer. Top with grenadine if desired. Add cherries and lime for garnish.
