What a wild night! 5 incredible whiskies and one very warm stag!

We were thrilled to host an intimate tasting for best man Eric and his crew of whisky loving stags, on a glorious sunny evening we sampled some incredible whiskies (check the second slide for the stags personal fave).

I'm told everyone had a good night and some sore heads in the morning!

Toby has survived another year somehow, here he is showing off his new favourite drink from 200 degrees.

If you're coming into store today, he is on a day off but will be in town, so please bring loads of presents.

He likes pokemon cards, coffee, any food that isn't fruit or veg, league of legends and chasing bubbles in the sun.

Massive thank you to for having us for a wonderful lunchtime session on Sunday.

4 phenomenal courses, 3 Wire Works whiskies, Wire Works whisky cocktail, IPA and Stout, the lucky diners were certainly well treated to a gastronomic feast.

Designed around showcasing local produce, what better setting to pair some fantastic drams from , including a little exclusive (peep the last slide 👀)

HELP, am I doing it wrong?

Carl tells me he likes his whisky 'on the rocks', 'over ice' or 'with a drop of water'.

I don't think it makes it taste any different, but each to their own i guess.

All jokes aside (no matter how top quality they are), we don't care how you enjoy your whisky. Pop into store for a judgement free experience and some bottles that'll make your bottom lip quiver.

I also tried to source a Cockerel to put the glass in its tail, but Carl said I wasn't allowed.

When Carl said we needed 'more blue' on our wall, you almost got a VERY different post.

But after talking me down, I decided you should see some of our favourite 'blue drams'.

Glendronach 18 will always be a store favourite, nothing like it, depths of richness and complexity rivalled by none.

Benriach 21 showcases four different casks and incredibly priced for such a mature liquid.

Dalmore 18 is about as easy drinking as it gets, with waves of sweetness and a nice old blue box.

Stay tuned for our 'more blue' outtakes or drop us a DM if you're desperate.
