On October 29, Forum & Bistro welcomes you to another unforgettable “45” experience, where just 45 guests will gather for an evening of extraordinary food, bold w**e pairings, and incredible storytelling. 🥂🍽️

This edition features Big Bold Cozy Reds, expertly selected by Sommelier Malcolm, paired with a stunning Old English-inspired four-course menu crafted by Chef Dustin Teichroeb and the Forum & Bistro culinary team. 🍷🍂

🎃 Something wicked is waiting on the shelf. 💀

👻The Demuerte collection has arrived, and these bottles are PERFECT for halloween!

🕯The labels are calaveras, (skulls) staring back at you out of the dark. And when the lights go out, the glow-in-the-dark labels (Demuerte One Monastrell/Cabernet Sauvignon) come alive, haunting the room with an eerie light. ☠

Inside, the reds are deep and brooding, built on old-vine Monastrell grown in Yecla, Spain, with dark fruit, smoke, and spice that lingers. Demuerte One even comes with a challenge we can't ignore: drink in the dark!

W**es as dark as midnight...the kind of setting Halloween was made for! So dim the lights. Light a candle. Pour a glass and see what’s lurking in the shadows.

🍷What a week of w**e, warmth, and wonderful company.

We were honoured to welcome two remarkable w**eries to Winnipeg: Delphine from Château Fleur de Haut Gaussens from Bordeaux, and Marco from Rocca di Montegrossi from Chianti Classico. Both are owners, and both travelled a long way to share their w**es and their stories with us. 🇫🇷 🇮🇹

🌟Each visit included a masterclass at our store, where guests had the chance to taste through the w**es and hear directly from the people behind them. How often do we get this rare opportunity?

🍝Delphine then hosted a special evening at SMITH restaurant, and Marco hosted his own special dinner at Pizzeria Gusto. Both events were a true celebration of food, w**e, connection and learning.

🫶Delphine and Marco, THANK YOU for making the journey, for your generosity, and for the passion you bring to your w**es and ultimately to Jones & Company. It was such a pleasure to host you both!

🍇And to everyone who came out to the masterclasses and dinners: thank you for welcoming them so warmly to Winnipeg. Your enthusiasm and support made these visits unforgettable.

🍷For our second VERY special guest who has travelled far and abroad to visit us, we are proud to host Marco Ricasoli-Firidolfi from Rocca d Montegrossi to our Saturday, October 17th from 12-3 pm!

🇮🇹 The w**ery is located in Monti in Chianti, one of the most highly regarded areas of Chianti Classico, Rocca di Montegrossi has deep roots in the region. Founded by Marco Ricasoli Firidolfi, a descendant of Baron Bettino Ricasoli one of the historic figures behind the development of Chianti Classico the estate has been dedicated to producing expressive, terroir-driven w**es for generations. Since 2006, the estate has been committed to careful, sustainable and organic viticulture, achieving official organic certification in 2010.
