A crisp, elegant 2024 Pierre Ponnelle Chardonnay with aromas of citrus, green apple & white flowers, with subtle hints of vanilla & toasted almonds. Smooth & medium-bodied, offering flavours of ripe pear, peach & lemon zest complimented by a touch of minerality 🍋

A vibrant, juicy 2022 Ferraud Régnié the nose is expressive, offering aromas of raspberry, cherry & blackberry, along with subtle hints of peony & rose. On the palate the wine well-structured with a fine balance of acidity & silkt tannins, delivering a smooth & refreshing finish 🍒

Sippin Saturday presents ... Welcome to the Voor-Paardeberg; a Western Cape wine region that has all the charm of an undiscovered country landscape. The first vintage of Vondeling wines made from their own grapes was in 2005. With a near 50/50 split of red to white varietals & a minimal-inteintervention approach during the winemaking process ensures wines with a unique "fingerprint" of origin 🍇🍷 we will be pouring 2-4pm

2023 Sauvignon Blanc - this wine displays an aromatic kaleidoscope, rich with perfumed peach, white pear, passion fruit & lime. These wonderful aromas prevail on the palate with added guava, pineapple, potpourri & nettle . The roundness of the palate is perfectly balanced by steely mineral zest & enjoyable long finish 🍃

2017 Monsonia - purple plums & dark notes of blackberry open things up, though sweeter floral red fruits catch up later on. A touch of cigar box & dusty oak beneath, with prickles of clove in tow 💮
