This week we said goodbye to someone very special to our team.

After 16 years of loyal service, Nerverson is leaving Astron Energy Knysna Waterfront to return to Zimbabwe and start a new adventure.

For many of our customers, Nerverson has been a familiar and friendly face on the forecourt for years. As a supervisor, he has done an incredible job leading the team and making sure every customer is welcomed with a smile and great service.

He has been a valued part of our Astron family, and his kindness, dedication, and work ethic will be deeply missed by both the team and the many customers who have come to know him over the years.

Nerverson, thank you for 16 wonderful years. We wish you all the very best for this next chapter. You will always be part of the Astron Knysna family.

With love from all of us, you will truly be missed. 🧡

During the Knysna water crisis, it’s the people on the ground who truly make a difference 🤝

We’re proud to be supporting the incredible volunteers from Gift of the Givers, who are working tirelessly to help our community avoid Day Zero and ensure water reaches those who need it most.

As a small thank you, Astron Energy Waterfront Drive Knysna has been providing coffee from Seattle Coffee Co, along with lunch packs, milk, and essentials to keep these volunteers fuelled while they do this vital work.

Thank you for showing up for Knysna, your dedication does not go unnoticed. 🧡

KNYSNA PRIDE!

Our very own Tristan Stubbs (born right here in Knysna!) did it again for the Orange Army as Sunrisers Eastern Cape lifted the Betway SA20 title yesterday at Newlands! 🏆🧡

In a nail-biter of a final, Sunrisers chased down 158/7 to win by 6 wickets, and Tristan played an absolute captain’s knock, 63 off 41 balls (4 sixes)!

And the moment that had us ALL shouting? 😮‍💨

With 9 needed in the final over, Stubbs went SIX… SIX off the first two balls to seal it in style, that winning blow was pure class. 💥

Another shout out to Quinton de K**k (Also a Knysna local) won major individual honours:

🏆 Player of the Season — He was officially named the best player of the entire competition.
🏅 Batter of the Season — He scored more runs than almost anyone else in the league and was recognised as the top batter.
📊 Most Runs in the Season — He finished as the leading run-scorer with 390 runs for the team.

This Heritage Day we celebrated in true South African style – with ice cream, braais, and a little extra excitement thanks to our Magnum Braai Kit Giveaway 🍦🥩

Congratulations to Marshall, one of our regulars, who walked away with the Epic Braai Kit! (Although it was actually his wife, Angie, who entered and won – she generously handed the prize over to him just in time for their planned braai that evening. Talk about perfect timing! 🥳)
