🧶🌈 Calling all crocheters! We need YOU! 💜
Woolcrate is so excited to be supporting a wonderful community initiative, and we’d love for our incredible crochet community to get involved!
Introducing Kaleidosky, a community crochet art piece that will create a beautiful, colourful canopy over a section of Streetopia in Observatory on 28 November 2026! 🌈
Imagine walking beneath a rainbow of crochet, looking up at the beautiful patterns and being able to say, “I made that!” 💜
And YOU can help make it happen!
Whether you contribute just one crochet piece or ten, every single contribution makes a difference in bringing this incredible project to life!
🧶 All wool and patterns will be provided! Shannon, who is heading up the project, will supply everything you need, collect the completed pieces and bring them together to create the final installation.
What makes Kaleidosky even more special is that this is just the beginning! The project is designed to grow year after year, becoming a lasting celebration of creativity, collaboration and community.
Streetopia itself is an annual art and music event, completely free and created for the community, by the community! 💜
At Woolcrate, we absolutely love seeing how a shared passion for crochet can bring people together, and we would LOVE to encourage as many of our wonderful customers and fellow crocheters as possible to take part!
