[Da Nang] Do you believe in time machines?
On September 26, Le Comptoir Danang and Quince Saigon will become one, and perhaps, just perhaps, they'll create a machine of sorts. A way back.
It's a strange thing, this event of taste!
A flavor, a scent, and suddenly you are not here but there, in another time, perhaps at your mother’s kitchen counter. The world has changed so much, but these moments, they are a piece of the past that remains stubbornly and wonderfully real.
In the kitchen we will have 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧 (𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐢𝐠𝐨𝐧) and 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐟 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐫 (𝐋𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐨𝐢𝐫), to help us find those moments.
They are an odd pair, a study in contradiction: one, a restless spirit who sees the rules and promptly ignores them; the other, a craftsman who takes what is familiar and makes it sing. This will be their first time cooking together, a sort of blind date in the kitchen.
We will, of course, be there to make sure the wines are flowing and the good times are rolling. See you there.
