🍇 Meet A Grape You Probably Haven’t Tried

Susumaniello (soo-soo-man-WELL-oh)

Never heard of it? You’re not alone.

This lesser-known grape from Puglia, Italy was once nearly forgotten—but it’s making a comeback.

It produces w**es with dark berry fruit, spice, bright acidity, and earthy, herbal notes, with enough structure to make it an interesting red for the dinner table.

Try it with: hearty pasta, pizza, grilled meats, burgers, or aged cheeses.

And we just added one to our shelves: Palamà Ninì Rosso.

🌍 A Sparkling Surprise From Slovenia

Slovenia has a long w**emaking tradition, with vineyards stretching along its western border with Italy.

One grape to know: Rebula—an indigenous variety used for everything from fresh whites to elegant sparkling w**es.

And yes, we have a Slovenian sparkling w**e on our shelves. 🇸🇮

Giocato Jongleur Brut is crisp and refreshing, with Meyer lemon, floral notes, earthy minerality, and persistent bubbles. Try it with shellfish, soft cheeses, salads, or light appetizers.

If Prosecco is your go-to, this is an easy way to try something new without leaving the sparkling style you already enjoy.

We’ve got a fresh batch of new w**es in the shop. Here are three that caught our attention.

🇸🇮 Giocato Jongleur Brut — Sparkling w**e from Slovenia, made from Rebula. A completely different take on sparkling w**e if Prosecco and Ch*****ne are your usual go-tos.

🇮🇹 Palamà Ninì Rosso — Made from Susumaniello, a little-known Puglian grape that nearly disappeared. A chance to try something you’re unlikely to find at the average w**e shop.

🇮🇹 Terre di Serrapetrona Collequanto — Made from Vernaccia Nera, an indigenous grape from Italy’s Marche region. Another bottle for anyone who likes discovering w**es beyond the familiar.
