🦗🥃 Espadín + Fried or Roasted Edible Grasshoppers
The earthy and citrus notes of the agave spirit perfectly complement the savory, nutty, taste of the roasted grasshopper and provides the umami that pairs well with espadín.

🥔🌵 Salmiana + Potato Chips
A potato Chip’s savory, greasy, and crunchy nature complement the mineral salinity and herbaceous notes of Salmiana. The high alcohol cut through the fat, and salt from the potato chips, acting as a palate cleanser making each bite taste fresh and new.

🧀🪴 Cupreata + Aged Comté
The nuttiness of aged Comté, such as toasted pine nuts, complement the earthy and sometimes sweet almond notes in cupreata, where as the high-fat content of the cheese acts as a carrier for the mezcal’s slightly smoky characteristic.

As the owner of Cosecha Wine and Mezcal, I love creating shared dinners, tastings, and classes because there’s nothing more meaningful than carving out space for people to slow down, connect, and be fully present with one another over something thoughtfully poured with memories you return to again and again.
