Teen stocking position has opened up just in time for summer. šŸŒžā›±ļøšŸ©“

This position is intended for teens who are ready to take ownership of the application process. Please allow your teen to pick up/drop off application, make the phone calls, look up store location, ask questions and introduce themselves. One of the qualities we are looking for is initiative. The hiring process is the first opportunity for applicants to demonstrate their ability to follow directions, solve simple problems, and take responsibility for their own success. We have high expectations for this position because we believe it provides a great opportunity for a young person to develop valuable work and life skills.

Interested teen, come by the store, ask clerk for application, get it completed and returned as soon as possible so interview can be scheduled!

Key responsibility for this position:
Restocking coolers
Rotating stock
Keep backstock organized
Assist with quick clean up, trash/cardboard
Move quickly & Safely

What we are looking for:
Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
Comfortable lifting 30 #, and being on feet
Positive attitude, strong work ethic
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Shows initiative

Work environment:
Fast paced, team oriented, hands on work
Short shifts 2.5 to 3.5 hrs
Physical job, expect to stay moving
Clear expectations, good training, and supportive team.

I wanted to share this for 2 reasons!
1- It's creative and fun
2- Ernie's makes a difference. We as a team make a difference and sometimes we get lost in the everyday tasks.

This is a Google review. We don't often get them as it's kinda not something looked at for convenience stores. We've had some crap reviews when people think they know something and post ugly stuff so we've learned to ignore the negative but there are positives!

Fresh warm smells and salty eats.
Every visit felt just right,
Bright as morning, warm as light.

Hi, Iā€™m Mari! Iā€™ll celebrate one year here this August. I was born in MichoacĆ”n, Mexico, and Iā€™m proud to be a Mexican woman from MichoacĆ”n. Iā€™m also the oldest of nine siblings. When I was sixteen, my family moved to California, where I graduated high school. Over the years, Iā€™ve lived and traveled through many states before finally settling here in Washington.

Iā€™m a busy working mom, and my kids are my whole world. Along with being a mom, I work at Ernieā€™s Market, and I truly enjoy being there. For me, itā€™s more than just a job ā€” itā€™s a place where I can connect with people in my community. I love meeting new customers, building relationships, and seeing people leave the store smiling.

The best part is that I get to work with amazing coworkers and a great boss while doing something I genuinely enjoy. And if you walk into the store and hear Mexican music playing, youā€™ll probably know Iā€™m the one working!

Me encanta conocer nuevos clientes, crear relaciones y ver a la gente salir de la tienda con una sonrisa.
