We’ve got a store full of things you probably don’t need, a few things you definitely do and plenty of stuff you didn’t even know existed.

Lingerie, adult novelties, smoking accessories, gifts and a whole lot of unexpected finds.
Come see why we are the store with more. You might surprise yourself. 😏

🍁 ONE DAY, YOU’LL MISS A DAY JUST LIKE TODAY.

Weird…I know!

Right now, someone is visiting Vermont for the very first time. Someone else has lived here their entire life and barely notices the mountains anymore.

Someone is taking pictures of the leaves.

Someone is driving the same road they’ve driven a thousand times.

And someone somewhere is about to stumble into a store they’ll be telling their friends about for years. 😏

Here’s something worth thinking about…

The best memories usually aren’t the things we planned.

They’re the unexpected stops. The conversations with strangers. The places that make us laugh. The moments when we forget about everything else for a little while.

That’s part of why I love what I do.

For over a decade we’ve welcomed the curious, the adventurous, the shy, the outgoing, the locals, the travelers, and the people who walked through our door thinking, “What the heck is this place?” 😂

Different people. Different stories. All welcome.

We’re not trying to be like every other store.

You shouldn’t have to be like everybody else either.

Life gets repetitive. Your memories don’t have to.

If you’re exploring Vermont for the weekend or you’ve called this beautiful state home forever, here’s your reminder:

Take the scenic route. Talk to someone new. Laugh a little louder. Make that unexpected stop.

You never know which ordinary day will become a story you tell for the rest of your life. ❤️

Vermont, you’ve kept this little shop going for more than a decade. I don’t take that lightly. ❤️

Every visit, every purchase, every “hey Joe” when you walk through the door matters.

Today I wrote something that isn’t about selling anything. It’s about the people who make Get Yours possible.

You.

Without you, there would be no us. Thank you.

A Little Update From Me. 👋

You’ll notice a small change to the hours at Get Yours.

Starting now, I’ll be closing a few hours early on Mondays and Tuesdays, at 6 PM. Every other day will stay at our regular hours and when I can manage it, you’ll probably still catch me opening early or staying later.

I say “we” and “us” a lot when I talk about Get Yours and that’s because my wife is absolutely part of this place. She still handles ordering, helps keep me organized and works at least one full shift every week.

But little by little I’ve been taking on more and more of the day to day workload myself.

Most days I’m behind the counter for nine hours, and when I’m not there, I’m cleaning, doing maintenance, mowing the lawn, working on the website, handling social media, keeping up with projects and doing whatever else needs to be done to keep this place moving.

Closing a few hours early a few days a week will give me a little more time to stay on top of everything without letting the store itself suffer.

And winter definitely isn’t “slow” around here. Vermont just likes to remind small businesses that heat, snow removal and everything else still costs real money. 😅

So I hope you’ll keep showing up for us, for me.

Supporting a small independent business really does matter. Every purchase, review, share, recommendation and visit helps more than you probably realize.

And if you ever need me outside the posted hours, send me a message. If I can make it work, I’ll do everything I can to be here for you.

Thank you for continuing to support this little store and the people behind it. ❤️
