(Long post warning) …
I don’t even know where to start with this one. We do a lot of picks …a LOT … but this one is SPECIAL!
For those that don’t know our history with Preservation Distillery and the unparalleled Marci, please know that she is the UNQUESTIONED Queen of bourbon. Having been a huge fan of hers for years, I told her that she’s the queen when I first met her in person. We went back and forth for hours trying to see who was a bigger fan of whose and I told her that regardless of that result, she would from then on be known as the Queen. Fast forward a few weeks and we did a (potentially first ever?) barrel pick of her 20 year old bourbon in the pumpkin bottle with her original labels from the 90s on them that we called Queen of Kentucky (special thanks to Kevin C for the assist on the name). When that bottle released and when people started to find out that I’ve nicknamed Marci THE QUEEN, that name just kinda stuck for her.
Marci is far too humble to admit that she’s wh***ey royalty but that’s exactly what she is and it’s about time the ENTIRE wh***ey community knows this!
It was only appropriate that we launch this new label with TWO private hand selected private barrels of a 19 year old and an 18.94 year old (thank you Kyle A Lloyd … I know for a fact that you’re the maniac that did 18.94 on this label, 😂).
Both are INSANELY limited. Both will be available on the site early next week. Don’t slide into the DMs unless you’re one the homies for the early access password 😂
Can’t wait to share these with you all and can’t wait for everyone else to see what I’ve known for ages - Marci is THE queen. It’s sure good to be the queen! Cheers all!

What do you do when one of your VVIP clients asks if you “have a few Eagle rare lying around?” Is this not normal? Think he meant the 10 or 12 year? Or even the 20 year double Eagle? He didn’t…he meant these!
Luckily, we had “a few” lying around. This is not Ai generated … but an actual shot of 170 years of Eagle Rare on our counter…only to be palletized and then sent down south to our client. Fly to your forever home birdies. You were good to us. Now be good to him!

While on vacation in Florida, I could have chose to bring literally ANY bottle I wanted with me but I chose this INSANE barrel pick by way of Old Commonwealth picked by my boys BRBNFNDR Brady Johnson and Brooks Raley. Zac Joseph is a WIZARD with these. So damn complex. And that finish is simply to die for. Hats off boys. Cheers! (Excuse the glassware as road trip options were limited)

Where do I even begin? It’s VERY rare for me to be speechless but today I find myself at a loss for words (and not just cuz I’ve practically lost my voice).

I’m so touched and so honored that you all would take time out of your busy schedules to come spend some time with us at our little piece of paradise.

As we reflect today on the legend and the icon that the American wh***ey industry lost yesterday, we can’t help but think about the impact that Evan Kulsveen left…not just on wh***ey drinkers but on everyone he ever met.
Evan helped create so many memories with people that will last them a lifetime by producing bottles like this one. Pictured here is one of our all time favorite barrels ever from ! The fact that this barrel was done for charity and never actually sold at retail was just the cherry on top.
I hope you’ll join me in a virtual toast to Evan and to everyone at Willett as they mourn this heavy and deep loss! Cheers to you guys and gals!

You never know these days when releases something new how it’ll land with the customer base…this particular one has been off to a HOT start for us.
We got in 6 bottles so far with 5 of them already finding a new home 😳
But then again, were you expecting anything less or different from us? One of the clients that picked up these 2 pictured here texted me and said “kinda disappointed you don’t have a dozen of these in stock.” Maybe one day Mike; maybe one day! Now, what is it you ask?!
The Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Distiller’s Council is a new, limited-edition, bottled-in-bond Kentucky straight bourbon wh***ey from Buffalo Trace Distillery. It was created to honor the legacy of Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. and to recreate the 19th-century wh***ey-making techniques he pioneered. The release is a tribute to a 1996 meeting of bourbon industry experts who aimed to revive historical production methods. Age statement - unknown. Release size - unknown. Sexy appeal - unlimited!

In the spirit of selling verticals, let’s talk about this one. A client saw we put together a vertical of William Larue Weller and then a vertical of Eagle Rare 17 and texted me saying “hey Prav, I think it would be kind of fun to see if there’s a difference in Van Winkle Lot B 12 year by year…can you put together a handful of different years so I can try them please?” (The VW 12 happens to be his “daily drinker”). So of course, putting together a few is exactly what we did.
What you’re looking at here is Lot B bottles from 2016 - 2024. Do I personally think there will be a big difference in these? I don’t. I told him as much. But what’s the point of having money if you can’t enjoy it on curiosities like this?!
I’m personally excited AF to hear what his results are. What do you think? You think there’s a difference in these “modern” Van Winkles? Maybe or can shed light on this one for us.

Today’s version of is brought to you by a JAW DROPPING vertical of the Eagle Rare 17 year old from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection (BTAC) lineup. Please zoom in and don’t let your eyes trick your mind…these aren’t “just” 25 bottles of ER17 year. This is a bottle from EVERY vintage that bottle has been released since its inception in the year 2000!
After recently putting together an entire vertical of William Larue Weller for a client, we did the only thing we know how to do - ask ourselves and our client “what next?” What else can we do to push the envelope? What can we do that no one else is thinking of doing and very few are capable of doing.
There’s a reason we’re the NUMBER ONE stop for the Who’s Who of the country, and sometimes of the world. There is nothing…and I repeat NOTHING that is out of the reach of our clients. We know this, and luckily they know this!
I hope you’re drooling all over your phone while looking at these pics the same way I was drooling all over the store counter while I was taking them. We’ve been very blessed to do some very cool things for some very cool people. And I proudly say this one is right up there with the best of ‘em!
