Where do I even begin? It’s VERY rare for me to be speechless but today I find myself at a loss for words (and not just cuz I’ve practically lost my voice).

As we reflect today on the legend and the icon that the American whiskey industry lost yesterday, we can’t help but think about the impact that Evan Kulsveen left…not just on whiskey drinkers but on everyone he ever met.
Evan helped create so many memories with people that will last them a lifetime by producing bottles like this one. Pictured here is one of our all time favorite barrels ever from ! The fact that this barrel was done for charity and never actually sold at retail was just the cherry on top.
I hope you’ll join me in a virtual toast to Evan and to everyone at Willett as they mourn this heavy and deep loss! Cheers to you guys and gals!

You never know these days when releases something new how it’ll land with the customer base…this particular one has been off to a HOT start for us.
We got in 6 bottles so far with 5 of them already finding a new home 😳
But then again, were you expecting anything less or different from us? One of the clients that picked up these 2 pictured here texted me and said “kinda disappointed you don’t have a dozen of these in stock.” Maybe one day Mike; maybe one day! Now, what is it you ask?!
The Colonel E.H. Taylor, Jr. Distiller’s Council is a new, limited-edition, bottled-in-bond Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey from Buffalo Trace Distillery. It was created to honor the legacy of Colonel E.H. Taylor Jr. and to recreate the 19th-century whiskey-making techniques he pioneered. The release is a tribute to a 1996 meeting of bourbon industry experts who aimed to revive historical production methods. Age statement - unknown. Release size - unknown. Sexy appeal - unlimited!

In the spirit of selling verticals, let’s talk about this one. A client saw we put together a vertical of William Larue Weller and then a vertical of Eagle Rare 17 and texted me saying “hey Prav, I think it would be kind of fun to see if there’s a difference in Van Winkle Lot B 12 year by year…can you put together a handful of different years so I can try them please?” (The VW 12 happens to be his “daily drinker”). So of course, putting together a few is exactly what we did.
What you’re looking at here is Lot B bottles from 2016 - 2024. Do I personally think there will be a big difference in these? I don’t. I told him as much. But what’s the point of having money if you can’t enjoy it on curiosities like this?!
I’m personally excited AF to hear what his results are. What do you think? You think there’s a difference in these “modern” Van Winkles? Maybe or can shed light on this one for us.

Please zoom in and don’t let your eyes trick your mind…these aren’t “just” 25 bottles of ER17 year. This is a bottle from EVERY vintage that bottle has been released since its inception in the year 2000!
After recently putting together an entire vertical of William Larue Weller for a client, we did the only thing we know how to do - ask ourselves and our client “what next?” What else can we do to push the envelope? What can we do that no one else is thinking of doing and very few are capable of doing.
There’s a reason we’re the NUMBER ONE stop for the Who’s Who of the country, and sometimes of the world. There is nothing…and I repeat NOTHING that is out of the reach of our clients. We know this, and luckily they know this!
I hope you’re drooling all over your phone while looking at these pics the same way I was drooling all over the store counter while I was taking them. We’ve been very blessed to do some very cool things for some very cool people. And I proudly say this one is right up there with the best of ‘em!

No camera tricks, no Artificial Intelligence, no your eyes playing tricks on you…also no, this isn’t just a “lot of” the same William Larue Weller bottles. Just some sexiness to look at while heading into the weekend. What you’re looking at is an unparalleled whiskey vertical!
This right here is one bottle from every expression of William Larue Weller since its inception in 2000! This beautiful set was put together for a client of ours down south that enjoys having the finer things in life. While talking to him one day, I realized he didn’t have every single one of these but only a handful of random vintages. You know I had to change that so I told him I’d find him an entire vertical and 2 days later, we did.

We keep hearing rumors that bourbon is dead?! But then we also see our clients wanting bottles that practically no one else has. I suppose the bourbon market has slowed down…but ask yourself WHAT has slowed down? The collectible vintage market is still transacting quite frequently…if anything, the recent worry has made it MUCH more of a buyer’s market. Buy now while you still can get incredible deals on rare collectible gems. There’s only a small handful of stores in the entire country, maybe the world, that can put together an order like this in one day….we are blessed that our clients have put us high on such a short list.
These aren’t just “regular modern pappy bottles.” There’s some delicious Stitzel Weller liquid in this list too 🙌🏾
As I always say, are you a customer at a regular liquor store or are you a client with someone who provides a concierge style service? Once you’re the latter, you can never go back. Come find out the difference for yourself if you haven’t already.

Good morning all! Due to the well deserved overwhelming demand and popularity of our website crashed at approximately 11:01 am EST today…about 35 seconds into their release. We know how frustrating it is and can be for all of you as I promise it’s equally frustrating for us.
While I don’t have all the answers yet, I promise that I’m working on them and will circle back. Also somehow it’s possible that some people got multiple orders in and some people didn’t get any orders in at all. As this was a VERY limited release, we will go thru the backend and start at the very first order and then work our way up and fulfill every last order that we possibly can.

I will circle back here with updates as I have them. For the last 49 minutes all I’ve been doing is receiving phone calls, texts, emails, DMs, and every other method of communication possible. Here’s a really fun (and rare) one for and .
Bottled in 2019, this private selection for the Blackout Barrel Group was custom commissioned through Willett to resemble their (discontinued) KBD Vintage Bourbon series.
Some of you may have seen the 17yr green wax, 21yr maroon wax and 23yr black wax Vintage Bourbon bottlings, but this one was released with a unique black and silver label as a 16yr edition. It was also bottled at barrel proof (117.2).

Barrel selection was facilitated by for the .group. They purchased the barrel experience at the “Willett to be Cured” charity auction that raised over $300,000 for the American Cancer Society in 2018.

These were never distributed to anyone outside of the original group and rarely pop up for sale…and almost never in this quantity. That is of course UNLESS you’re 1 west dupont wines ;-)
For me personally, these are some of the sexiest looking (and tasting) bottles in American whiskey. What about you? Have you seen it? Tried it? Like the way it looks? The way it tastes? Tell us in the comments below…
