Join us as Tony highlights Masi's 252 years of Amarone making expertise.

Tony Apostolakos comes from a family with a winemaking background, as they originally owned vineyards in Central Greece dating back to the early 1900s before emigration to Montreal in Canada. Apostalakos earned his degree in Economics at the University of Alberta before entering the wine trade, where he now has over 20 years of experience. Apostolakos first represented Masi in Canada in 1999 before he switched his attention to the United States market in 2005. He makes regular trips to the company headquarters in Valpolicella to spend time with the Boscaini family and the Masi Technical Group and ensure he is fully up-to-date with the company’s winemaking techniques and global strategy.

Come and meet Jim Anderson of Patricia Green who will be showcasing a selection of his incredible wines!

Patty Green and Jim Anderson started Patricia Green Cellars in 2000 after walking away from a very successful winery that they had built since its inception in 1993. As karma would have it they were offered the opportunity, out of almost nowhere, to purchase a winery and vineyard that were in the area that would become to be known as the Ribbon Ridge AVA. The winery was built on the idea that there were great vineyards in Oregon that could produce uniquely excellent wines if people dedicated themselves to the farming and winemaking necessary to do so. Over many vintages that ideal expanded as experience was gained, the winery grew and the sophistication of the vision adapted to the times.

Alessandra Casini Bindi Sergardi was born in Siena (24th gerneration), the third of five children and part of the historic Bindi Sergardi family whose Sienese roots can be traced back to 1349. Her father Nicolò, whose grandfather Emilio was one of the founders of the Chianti Classico Consortium. Alessandra right after graduating with a master's degree cm laude in Economy from University of Florence decided to follow the family tradition, feeling that her innate passion for the land and its wine was her calling. In 2005, she joined the wine sector of the family estates - I Colli, Mocenni, and Marcianella -as Director General. Young and focused, Alessandra has very precise goals: to continue to produce only wine of elevated quality and to spread Bindi Sergardi's philosophy - authenticity, audacity, and integrity.

In-store with us today is Giulia Cecchi of Castello Monsanto!

Hailing from Castellina in Chianti, in the Tuscany region of Italy, Giulia Cecchi grew up with Sangiovese coursing through her veins (almost). Her mother is the third generation of Castello di Monsanto winery and her father is the fourth one of the Famiglia Cecchi Estates. From early childhood, Giulia has been deeply involved in the atmosphere of vine growing, including working her first harvest at four years old! Today, Giulia serves as the U.S. Brand Ambassador for Castello di Monsanto where she focuses on sharing the gospel of Italian culture, gleefully educating clients on the rich heritage of Italian wines.
