Together, Guillaume and Phil have assembled a lineup that spans the full range of what Bordeaux — and beyond — can offer: the rare white from Cheval Blanc, a mineral-driven 2016 Canon, the Wine Spectator Wine of the Year, a haunting 2005 Gruaud Larose, and the legendary Vin de Constance from Klein Constantia. This will be a ticketed (paid) event and promises to be quite the evening. Chef Rod has decided to re-invent some Italian culinary classics (perhaps with a Mexican twist?) and Tim has selected an epic lineup of Italian wine to go along with it. Don't miss this!

Stop by today for a rare chance to taste one of the best Brunello producers in Castelnovo dell'Abate.

Mastrojanni estate and vineyards are located in the northernmost part of Castelnuovo dell'Abate, an area known for its red soil and fine aging potential. The winery focuses on biodiversity and biodynamic process throughout its 110 hectares of vines, olive groves and thick forests. Quality production bring only the best attributes, warm and silky fruit with racy acidity and sweet tannins. While estate wine is more approachable there's plenty of upside potential, especially from the single-vineyard Vigna Loreto and Vigna Schiena d'Asino, standout wines. Quality and consistency is too be expected as the winery owner is Francesco Illy Entrepreneur of Illy Coffee.
