A Prohibition survivor returns. 🥃

Brook Hill 13-Year Kentucky Straight Rye 132.36 Proof · Cask Strength Revived by Rare Character Whiskey Co.

In the late 1800s, Joseph L. Friedman built Brook Hill into one of Kentucky’s most respected whiskey names — bold, refined, and unmistakable in its iconic black label. When Prohibition shuttered nearly every distillery in America, Brook Hill was one of the rare few to earn the right to keep producing — legally. That alone tells you what kind of whiskey it was.

Now Rare Character is bringing it back, and they’re not playing around. Thirteen years of Kentucky aging. 132.36 proof, uncut. A rye built the old way — for people who want their whiskey to mean something.

A legend returns. 🥃

Black Maple Hill 16-Year Kentucky Straight Bourbon Revived by Rare Character Whiskey Co.
For two decades, Black Maple Hill was a name whispered among collectors — a cult Kentucky bourbon built on legendary stocks that produced some of the most sought-after pours in American whiskey history. Then it went quiet.

Now it’s back. Reborn in Kentucky. Bottled at its historic 95 proof. Aged a full 16 years.
Rare Character — the team behind Fortuna and Brook Hill — didn’t just buy a name. They brought it home.

On the nose: dark caramel, worn leather, cherry cola, toasted oak, to***co. On the palate: butterscotch, maple syrup, dried fruit, cinnamon, toasted nuts. The finish: long, warming — aged oak, dark chocolate, a whisper of smoky char.

Highly allocated. Extremely limited. If you know the history, you know what this bottle means.

Pride of Anderson County — Barrel 089
Distilled 2016. Bottled 2026.

Rare Character Whiskey Co. doesn’t rush this. Single barrel, uncut, unfiltered, straight from the rickhouse at full cask strength. No blending, no cutting, no apologies — just one barrel’s worth of Anderson County, captured at the exact moment it was ready.

When it’s gone, it’s gone. That’s the whole point.

Big arrival. 👀

Chichibu 10 Year — the flagship from Japan’s most obsessed-over craft distillery — is on our shelves. Ichiro Akuto built this place by hand in the mountains of Saitama, and every bottle that comes out of it disappears fast.

101 proof, 10 years old, box and all.
Come grab one before it walks. 🏔️🇯🇵

🦉 The wisest bottle on our shelf right now.

Meet Sagrestan Dry Vermut — and yes, it’s as interesting as that owl on the label suggests.

This isn’t your average dry vermouth sitting in the back of someone’s liquor cabinet. Sagrestan is a handcrafted Italian-style vermut inspired by a recipe dating back to the 1940s, made by Federico and his family using hand-picked botanicals — wormwood, rosewood, cinnamon, citrus peel, alpine herbs — macerated the old way, no shortcuts.

👃 On the nose: dried fig, golden raisin, fresh apricot, citrus peel, and wild herbs 👄 On the palate: dry, herbal, pleasantly bitter with chamomile florals and a clean lingering finish

How to drink it: 🍸 In a Martini — pairs beautifully with a bold London Dry gin 🫧 As a Spritz — over ice with tonic and a lemon wheel 🥂 Chilled on its own as an aperitivo before dinner

If you think vermouth is just a mixer, Sagrestan will change your mind entirely.
In store now. Come try something different. 🦉

🔥 Monday just got a whole lot better.

Introducing ¡OLE! Mamajuana — a premium Dominican spiced spirit that brings the warmth, mystique, and soul of the Caribbean straight to your glass. 🇩🇴✨

Here’s what makes it special:

Dominican sugar cane rum, aged in American oak, then infused with a hand-selected blend of Dominican barks, herbs, and spices — white oak, rosewood, cinnamon, vanilla, and a touch of honey. The result? Smooth, warm, layered, and unlike anything else on our shelf.

It traces its roots to the Taíno people — one of the oldest and most beloved spirits traditions in the Caribbean — now crafted into a polished, ready-to-drink premium bottle. Even the bottle is special: 100% recycled glass with a natural wood and cork closure 🌿

🥃 Sip it neat by the fire 🧊 Pour it over ice 🥂 Mix it into the ¡OLE! Amor — Mamajuana + lemon + honey + champagne = the cocktail of the season
New in store and ready for your next gathering.

Peirce Mill Rye

DC history you can actually taste. 🏛️🥃

Peirce Mill — one of the last surviving 19th-century grist mills in DC, a Rock Creek landmark that has stood since the 1800s — now lives on in your glass.
This is a collaboration between Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey and Cotton & Reed — two DC-distilled rye barrels finished in a former Gold Rum barrel, bringing tropical sweetness and rich warmth to the bold spice and grain character of the rye.

24% Chocolate Malt. 29% Malted Barley. 45% Rye. 100% DC.
Every sip is a story. Come in and find yours.
