It was a pleasure to meet the owner of Frog's Leap Winery in Napa Valley. John is a genuine soul. He compares vines to humans. They have the same lifespan; they want the same things in life- freshwater, fresh air, healthy environments, and to reproduce! He was inspiring and enlightening, and a delight to learn from and taste with!

What a great little Tuesday! We had such a fun night hosting Rob from Marimar Estate, the wines were absolutely gorgeous, especially alongside dishes straight from the Catalan Country Kitchen cookbook.

Huge thanks to all of our guests for joining us, and to Chef Elise and Trattoria Stella for bringing the cookbook to life with incredible dishes. We even capped the night drinking from a porrón, the traditional Catalan wine vessel.
