We are so excited about our next wine dinner at on Saturday June 6th. We will be cohosting with .0 from featuring a beautiful lineup of of hand-crafted wines from outstanding growers who farm their own vineyards using sustainable, organic, or biodynamic practices. These producers are farmers first — deeply connected to their land and committed to expressing their appellation with honesty and precision. Be sure to secure your tickets, this is bound to sell out. https://granorfarm.com/events/dining/pe-wine-series-june-6-2026

for May is here!

Memorial Day is around the corner. The air is warm, the trees are green, and another summer in Southwest Michigan is just about here. The wine for the moment: Prosecco.

Prosecco isn’t trying to be Champagne — and that distinction is the whole point. Champagne is about complexity: second fermentation in the bottle, long aging on the lees, the toasty richness that comes from yeast and time. Prosecco is the opposite philosophy: the grape is the main event. Talk to a winemaker who makes both styles and you’ll hear it put something like this — Prosecco should taste like it just came from the vineyard. Meant to be ethereal, not grounded. If what you’ve known of Prosecco is something cheap and sweet by the case at the grocery store, that’s not Prosecco doing what it’s supposed to do. This month’s three wines are Prosecco done right.

Prosecco comes from the hills of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in northeastern Italy, made primarily from the Glera grape. At its best — when the farming is serious and yields are kept low — it’s floral, crisp, sometimes mineral, sometimes wildly savory.

We’re featuring three this month — one from the DOCG hills of Valdobbiadene, one col fondo from Treviso, and one brut from Friuli. Each is a reminder of what Prosecco can be when it’s grown and made with care. Pour them cold, drink them outside, and find something to celebrate — because the moment you pop the cork is the celebration.

Cheers,
P. + E. Mullins

Grateful to all those near and far for your support on our opening last weekend!

We are now open 6 days a week —
Monday & Wednesday 11–4
Thursday 10–6
Friday & Saturday 10–7
Sunday 10–6

Please note we are still evolving!

We are still awaiting our additional space permit from the MLCC, so all the wine, beer, and cider is still in our original footprint with a little temporary register set up in that space. This also limits our cold bottles and cans selection for the moment — but it will come, and hopefully soon!

Our deli case hours will vary, mostly Thursday through Sunday, as we settle in. We'll always make sure there are great grab-and-go options for you, though!

Cheers!
