We adore a heartfelt artisan made work of wonder and whimsy, and we know these special pieces will bring so much joy to their “forever home”.

🌎Happy earth day! 🌎

Did you know that here at we have several makers who create with up-cycled goods?! We also have one vendor who donates a portion of their proceeds to habitat preservation for our pollinators!!!

We are so proud to carry these small businesses in our shop!

1. All sales of lip balm benefit habitat preservation for pollinators! We also carry a selection of their lotion bars and gift sets. With these products you can smell good, look good, and feel good!

2. offers handmade cat toys sustainably sewn with vintage, secondhand, and upcycled fabrics and materials. In the shop we have a selection of kickers, squishies, felted balls, mini sewing kits and more!

3. .ginger1 creates upcycled dog toys, collars, and leashes! The most popular item of hers we carry in the shop are the monkey fist toys, made from recycled commercial crabbing robe that would otherwise wise end up in a landfill. Her leashes, collars, and rope toys are made with retired climbing rope. These products are durable and helpful to the environment!

4. Bee sting press is a local artist who screen prints his original designs on thrifted shirts, helping keep clothing out of the landfills. We have three of his designs to choose from and are always updating colors and sizes. Robin also makes beautiful framed prints that he hand crafts his own frames for.

5. is one of the first upcycled art makers we had join our shop! She creates beautiful Lino prints that she prints on upcycled paper, towels, and clothing. She has framed prints that use upcycled frames, keeping her cost and footprint low! We also carry Renee’s beautiful handmade cards and notebooks in shop!

Join us for an exciting afternoon at Grit City Made!

We are so excited to have pop up in the shop. She is offering these super cute pet portraits that she will draw on the spot. 🙌🏼
They are $18 per pet and you can DM us directly to book. We will send you a Square invoice to hold your spot! Limited spaces available!

Tara prefers to work from a photo, but well trained pets are welcome for visits at the shop.

We will also be collecting supplies for the Tacoma Humane Society! (More info to come!)
