We ❤️ Cantina Gorgo's Chiaretto di Bardolino 2024 (and the 2025 just landed!!)

Gordo Wines is a family-driven Veneto winery founded in 1975 by Alberta and Roberto, now led by daughter Roberta Bricolo. Located between Verona and Lake Garda, the family converted all 53 hectares to certified organic farming in 2014. Roberta believes "organic is not a choice, it is the only way," reflecting her commitment to producing healthy, authentic wines that honor their territorial roots.

This rosé is a perfect reflection of their commitment. It has been one of our biggest sellers this year, with its wonderful fruit, crisp and elegant acidity, this is a perfect patio wine in the summer and adds a little sunshine to those longer winter evenings.

Follow with us! 🥂 And look for their new 2025 vintage joining our collection in the coming months!

Big thanks to and Bianco Rosso Imports for bringing this lovely 🇮🇹 🌹 vino state-side.

Fossil & Fawn Willamette Valley Chardonnay (OR)

"Get Weird, Suck Less" might be my new favorite winemaking motto.

Jenny Mosbacher and Jim Fischer started Fossil & Fawn in 2011 with 50 experimental cases of Pinot Noir. Now they're making about 5000 cases across eight wines, all sourced from sustainably-managed, farmer-owned smallholdings throughout Oregon's Willamette Valley—including their own family vineyard in the Eola Hills.

Their philosophy? Start with good grapes. Then don't f✨ck them up.

I say, mission accomplished with this lovely bottle! The 2023 Willamette Valley Chardonnay is a gorgeous expression of their brand, a balance of quality and fun. This wine grabs your attention immediately. Grounded by Oregon and French oak and elevated by fresh fruit and acidity, it's a delight to the tongue. The kind of bottle that makes everyone at the table happy.

Follow with us! 🥂 There images are as gorgeous as their wines!!

Big thanks to the lovely Kaylee at for playing cupid 💘

Chinado Tinto 2023
Our first Portugal red has arrived, folks. And it's a feisty one. From the Alcobaca region of Lisboa, this is mostly Castelão grapes with a pinch of Tinta Miúda and others.

João Tereso (aka ) began his career as a sound engineer, but in 2017 he stepped into winemaking to keep his grandfather’s small field-blend vineyards in Alcobaça from being abandoned.

The name for this wine, Chinado, comes from local slang for “stabbed,” but it also refers to the stones used to mark vineyard boundaries. Both meanings feel right for João’s wines—alive, distinctive, and carrying the edge of the place they come from.

Dark broody fruit with notes of smoke and spice. This wine was a huge hit at a recent private tasting party, it caught a lot of attention, I ended up selling every bottle I had there! Luckily for us, had more in stock and I was able to add it back into the mix.

Follow with us! 🥂 Huge thank you to Janet Beeby for helping us find this little firecracker!

When entering a grocery store wine section, who hasn't been annoyed, overwhelmed, flustered and/or had to p*e real bad and thought, "I just can't with this..."??? Grocery store wine selections are hard to navigate. Do we go by the label? Does the height of the shelf it's on really indicate the quality? Or just the price? Dare we ask the guy four rows over in the frozen isle for help?

Having worked both in grocery stores (my first job in high school was a courtesy clerk. I wore a little tie and everything.) and in restaurants with massive wine lists, I've seen this look on many fine peoples' faces. It's not that we don't know what we like, it's just that words and labels and a million options aren't always what we need to find what we're looking for.

This is one of the main reasons I started Vinestock. A) because as an official retailer I get to taste the wines before I order them and B) because when I find an amazing wine, getting to share it with people who, in turn, have a similar positive reaction provides a sense of satisfaction and validation that is hard to beat.

Also, C) most of the wines I sell are not typically available in grocery stores. They're from small producers, often imported from overseas and available in limited quantities, making them less ideal for the bigger retailers. Instead, these wines are more often coveted and adored in the smaller circles of wine shops, clubs and cafes.

And now, as a member of our wine club, they could be a part of your home experience. Unlike some clubs that focus on a single vineyard or winemaker, our wines are curated with the help of our favorite importers who deal with small producers from around the world.

Join today to build your perfect membership. Select the quantity, style and frequency, and enjoy a curated selection of new wines delivered to your door every month. Plus, as a member, you get free delivery for any bottles from our online store as well. Visit our website for more details on the club and how to book your own private wine tasting. 🥂

RAM Cellars, Almost Red Dixon Vineyard Columbia Valley (OR) (VIV Label) (2023)

I LOVE THIS WINE. Unlike a rosé that tends to be made from red grapes that are removed from their skins early, this "Almost Red" is actually equal parts red (Syrah/Counoise) and white (Marsanne) grapes blended together. The result is a bold, refreshing, sophisticated combination that doesn't take itself too seriously. Perfect for a sunny day, served slightly chilled, this wine leaves you thirsty for more with every sip.

I have yet to meet a RAM Cellars wine I don't love, to be honest. Moreover, I'm a huge fan of the winemaker herself and the story of her work both in and beyond the bottle.

"In 2018, Vivianne (winemaker) made the decision that saved her life and came out as a transgender woman. In the spring of 2019, she launched the first wines under a new label, dubbed “VIV.” VIV label wines raise money for organizations that provide support to q***r and transgender people through a $3 donation for the sale of every bottle.

Although the name of this label is the shorthand of our winemaker’s full first name, it was actually chosen because “viv” is the French root word that means “to live, to be alive.” As Viv will tell you, making the choice to come into the light and live fully as herself meant that she, too, gets to live, and be alive, for a long time to come. With that extra life comes extra responsibility to do good, meaningful things for members of communities she is a part of, which led to the birth of the new label. Partners whom the Viv label has raised money for include the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund (in support of their Name Change Project), Portland’s Q Center, and most recently the Trans Lifeline!" - RAM Cellars website

Folk Machine California Grenache 2023 by

In 2021, the folks at Hobo Wines found themselves "fortunate to secure Grenache from 4 amazing sites across California (even though they really didn’t have a plan for what to do with them). Just seemed like a good idea to say, “YES.” The result is this blend of all four!

The finished wine is true to Grenache, but more ethereal, almost more Pinot Noir like and for sure more readily drinkable than most of it’s European counterparts. Tannins and alcohol are kept far at bay." - Hobo Wines

This is a wine I'd have a beer with. It has personality, substance, a sense of humor (if my metaphor isn't going too off the rails here...) and somehow just makes you happy to drink it. Huge favorite at multiple private tastings this year. I'm lucky to have a few bottles left. Only 420 cases produced!

This is a stunning white wine from California winemaking team, Corinne Rich and partner Katie Rouse (aka ). The grapes for this Verdelho, a varietal native to Portugal, were grown in Contra Costa County, California, a region originally settled by Portuguese farmers.

What I love about this wine is the unique combination of flavors. While bright and delicate, they really make themselves at home, lingering on the palette and giving your taste buds plenty of time to soak up every nuanced note. Limited bottles available!

~ Ultraviolet Sparkling Pinot Noir

The first time we sipped this gem of a wine we knew immediately we wanted her in our collection. Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown in the “islands in the sky” region of Mendocino, the narrative was a fun coincidence as well, given our own island roots here in South Sound.

A creation of winemaker Samantha Sheehan, this Sparkling Rose embraces the higher elevation, cooler temperatures and ocean air that only this AVA can provide. It’s perfectly balanced between darker, juicy berries and sophisticated, bright acidity that comes full circle with every sip.

And the label is just gorgeous. Designed by her partner, Michael, it turns heads just as effectively as the juice inside.

Follow with us! 🥂 Thanks to at Bianco Rosso for the introduction ❤️
