Today I sing “La Llorona” and raise a glass in honor of Día de los Mu***os (Day of the Dead). Día de los Mu***os is a joyful, sacred celebration observed on November 1 and 2 that views love as transcending death. Rather than treating death as a dark, terrifying, or final end, the tradition embraces it as a natural, necessary transition in an eternal cycle of existence. Preparation for the celebration begin October 31. It begins today, Sunday, November 1 (Día de los Angelitos, honoring children who have passed) and Monday, November 2 (Día de los Mu***os, honoring deceased adults).

Por los que se fueron, pero nunca nos dejaron. (For those who left, but never truly left us. ). Today I raise my glass and my voice in their honor. 🥂🕯️🌼

• 0.5 oz Cointreau orange liqueur
• 0.5 oz grenadine syrup
• 1 oz pomegranate juice
• 1 oz El Músico Tequila
• Sparkling orange water to top
• Black cherries for garnish

Trying something new. Tierra de Ensueño - Tequila Artesanal Tequila Blanco Highproof. Nom 1580 Hacienda El Olvido in Jesus Maria, Jalisco, Mexico. Sergio Cruz and Oscar Vazquez Camarena. A collaberation with The Tequila Report . They did a beautiful job on this one! This barrel-rested high proof blanco from Tierra de Ensueño spends three weeks in extra-rare wheated bourbon casks before resting for three months in stainless steel tanks. Bottled at 50% ABV. Go get one!

Tonight on The TequiLadies 🥃💃 we sat down with Miguel Ortiz, Founder AND Maestro Tequilero of House of Rare Tequila and let’s just say, these are YUMMY. NOM 1648 Herencia De Agaves

House of Rare has been behind some seriously unique barrel-aging projects, and they’re shaking things up with some very cool collaborations with other tequila brands.

The Blanco? 👍
The Reposado? 👍👍

Definitely a brand to keep your eye on. 👀 And trust me…there’s more to this story!

My tribute to Dolly. Many people may not know this song. I believe it was theB side of the 45 record of “Here you come again”. My older sister bought the record, but I fell in love with the B side “Me and little Andy”. I was eight or nine years old when I first heard it, and it touched my soul. Every time I think of a Dolly, I think of this song. RIP SWEET Dolly 🙏🏼
