Cocktail of the Week: Honey Pear Bourbon Fizz

Summer may be winding down, but there’s still plenty of time for a refreshing cocktail. This Honey Pear Bourbon Fizz combines juicy pear, smooth bourbon, fresh lemon and a touch of honey for an easy drink that works perfectly as we head toward fall.

Ingredients:
• 2 oz bourbon
• 2 oz pear nectar
• ½ oz fresh lemon juice
• ½ oz honey syrup
• Club soda
• Ice
• Fresh pear slice for garnish

Instructions:

Add bourbon, pear nectar, lemon juice and honey syrup to a shaker filled with ice.
Shake until well chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with a splash of club soda.
Garnish with a thin slice of fresh pear.

Easy Honey Syrup: Mix equal parts honey and warm water until completely blended, then let it cool before using.

The pear keeps it light and refreshing while the bourbon and honey add just enough warmth to hint that fall is around the corner.

Here’s a different one that works especially well for late summer:

Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade

A little sweet, a little tart, and incredibly refreshing, this Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade is an easy summer cocktail for warm evenings, backyard gatherings, or a relaxing weekend.

Ingredients:

2 oz bourbon
1 oz fresh lemon juice
¾ oz simple syrup
5–6 fresh blackberries
2 oz club soda
Ice
Lemon wheel and blackberries for garnish

Instructions:

Add the blackberries and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker and gently muddle.
Add the bourbon, lemon juice, and ice.
Shake until well chilled.
Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with club soda.
Garnish with a lemon wheel and a few fresh blackberries.

The combination of juicy blackberries, bright lemon, and smooth bourbon makes this a great cocktail for soaking up the last weeks of summer.

🍑 Summer Cocktail of the Week: Peach Basil Fizz

Sweet summer peaches and fresh basil come together in this light, bubbly cocktail that's perfect for relaxing on the patio or entertaining friends.

Ingredients:

2 oz peach vodka
1 oz peach nectar
½ oz fresh lemon juice
4–5 fresh basil leaves
Club soda
Ice
Fresh peach slice and basil sprig for garnish

Instructions:

Gently muddle the basil leaves in a cocktail shaker.
Add the peach vodka, peach nectar, lemon juice, and ice.
Shake well until chilled.
Strain into a tall glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with club soda and stir gently.
Garnish with a fresh peach slice and a sprig of basil.
