Wine Tasting THURSDAY!! Tonight 4 - 7 PM

NEW!!!
Raywood Wines:

Raywood Chardonnay – CA. This is a fresh style of Chardonnay, offering clean melon-rind, white-peach and lime aromas. The palate is bright and tight, with lime peel, honeydew and a light touch of guava.

Raywood Sauvignon Blanc – CA. "Wet stone and lemon aromas show on the nose of this appellation cuvée. The texture is soft on the palate, where citrus flesh, grass and green apple flavors converge. Matt Kettmann" - 88/100, Wine Enthusiast

Raywood White Zinfandel – CA. The goal for making a delicious White Zinfandel is balancing the sweetness with enough acidity to make it fruity, but also refreshing and crisp at the finish. Early in the season, the vineyard crew hand-picks clusters that look like they won't make full sugar for our red Zinfandel. These clusters are loaded into the press and made as a white wine rather than a red wine. This gives the beautiful pink color with some red Zinfandel qualities.

Raywood Merlot – CA. Merlot grapes are picked at optimal ripeness to showcase fruit and maintain the elegance of this Bordeaux varietal. The wine is set on French oak for 6 months to add complexity without stealing the elegance of the fruit. This Merlot is a beautiful example of what a California Merlot can be.

Raywood Cabernet Sauvignon – CA. Often synonymous Bordeaux wine blends and the Napa Valley, Cabernet Sauvignon is found worldwide – in no small part due to its prized combination of black fruit aromas, structural tannins, and fresh acidity.

Marie Christine Rose – France. NEW!! This wine has a soft pink powdered hue. The nose is fruity, fine and delicate. On the palate, the attack is marked by peach and nectarine notes with a rich aromatic complexity. This vintage has a long persistent finish with elegance and fineness.

Finca Vidales Rioja Rosado – Rioja, Spain. Bright and brilliant and light strawberry in color. ‘Fresh, fruit-forward, fine and balanced,’ this ‘cheerful’ style of rosé combines the aromatic expressiveness of a warm vintage with the elegance and well-balanced acidity of a cold vintage.

Cote Sauvignon Blanc – France. NEW!! This Sauvignon Blanc is a pale yellow color with green hues. Aromatically bright, featuring notes of green pineapple, crushed nettle, apple, freshly crushed mint, with tropical undertones. Textural mid-palate, fruit sweetness and a finished balance with a clean dry edge and persistent flavor on the finish.

Chateau la Rose Bordeaux – France. NEW!! The Chateau La Rose St Germain appears a dark ruby color in the glass. The nose reveals ripe fruit and spices, with toasted notes. Jacques Bourguignon Pinot Noir – France. Dark cherry color, medium body Aroma: earthy, red fruit, strawberry Notes of cherry, raspberry, a little spice, and minerals. Soft, dry, smooth finish.

Tor Del Colle Montepulciano - Italy. Beautiful deep red color with a purple tinge. Bouquet is intense and dominated by cherries and blueberries. The taste is elegant and vinous where crushed cherry stones from the barrel aging harmonizes beauty and taste.

Paradosso Pinot Noir - Italy. A different Pinot, showing balance and power.

Monsieur Paradis Rose - France. Tasting notes and Pairing. A very light, shiny salmon-pink Rosé with a very expressive bouquet revealing aromas of fresh red fruits and strawberry. Fine, crisp and elegant on the palate, a perfect balance. The perfect companion for salads, grilled dishes and spicy shellfish, but can also be enjoyed on its own as an aperitif all year round. Serve chilled.

Tenuta de Morer Pinot Grigio - Italy. This Pinot Grigio is dry, smooth and optimally structured. Yielding a color of straw yellow with golden highlights, this wine is full-bodied and pleasantly soft on the palate. Aromas of light citrus and delicate flowers are complemented by tastes of green apples and Bartlett pears, ending with a delightfully long finish. Kris Pinot Grigio - Italy Brilliant lemon-green in color, KRIS offers enticing aromas of acacia flowers, citrus, tangerine, and hints of almonds. Recommended with risotto, tossed salads, homemade pasta and grilled white meats or salmon.

Bread & Butter Chardonnay – CA This Chardonnay opens delicately with rich notes of vanilla bean and almond husk, which is reminiscent of a decadent creme brulee. The creamy notes are balanced by a soft minerality and a hint of tropical fruit. Those creamy notes continue to your palate where they are joined with bright acidity and well-integrated oak that leads into a long, creamy finish.

Avalon Cabernet Sauvignon – CA Located 100 miles east of San Francisco, Lodi's classic Mediterranean climate featuring warm days and cool evenings makes it a perfect growing region for Cabernet Sauvignon. Avalon Lodi CAB is aged for a minimum of eight months in French and American oak barrels for a delightful, fruit-forward wine balanced with toasty oak and a touch of vanilla.
